A must everything was fast and fresh and delicious, little menu which makes it easier to decide had the Tuscan tomato soup ❤️and grill cheese, quiche, ravioli and tried all the desserts… very good
We’re driving through Kansas and stopped at Tallgrass National Preserve. Looking for a quick bite to eat on the way out of town, we found Chef Stan’s. The food is all homemade and delicious! The quiche (it was the Mediterranean quiche) is especially amazing!

Wonderfully prepared, delicious, unfussy food in a spare and elegant setting. Infrequently open, and absolutely worth the effort.

I emailed ahead of time and asked about vegan options and I got a wonderful salad, sourdough bread, lentil soup, and delicious coffee. Will definitely return.

The food is so good I didn't get the chance to take a photo of it.
If you're in the area and it's open, GO!

The drive to get here from Wichita is enjoyable. The food is worth the drive. We had the brie toast and gravy, salad, quiche, tomato soup, cheese sandwich and lemon tart. All were high quality and delicious. We will return.

This place is unique, one of the fine food experiences that are emerging across Kansas. Chef Stan is a Californian who fell in love with Kansas, and is doing some really cool cuisine. Only open on weekends (Thursday through Sunday) and only for brunch. Check his Facebook page to be sure that they will be open.I had the Mediterranean quiche, which was fascinating, and the lemon tart, which was excellent. I will eagerly go back, as I want to try the whole menu!

The quaintest place located in the middle of a cornfield! A little country church skillfully renovated and converted to an intimate restaurant with amazing views. Delicious food at reasonable prices!Nicknamed “The Little Restaurant on the Prairie” for a good reason!
