Jacalito Mexican Restaurant

It is SO good!! Seriously, some of the best mexican food i've ever had. The vegetarian menu it is fresh and amazing. Highly recommend trying the quesadilla supreme on the veggie menu. Local tip- ask for the extra hot sauce if you like deep smoky flavors with a real kick. Very friendly attentive service and an outdoor patio!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in a long time! Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Very large menu with options for everyone. They even have a fairly extensive American food menu in case you have people in your group just not feeling Mexican food that day.

Best service around Kansas. Good prices. Very nice waiters. Food is always good when I go. They are kid friendly.

Just wanted to say this is our 2nd year for using Jacalito's to cater our High School reunion and he never fails to go above and beyond!! The food was not only delicious but he always makes sure no one leaves hungry with his large portions! Thanks Alex and crew and we'll be contacting you again next year!!

well my friends and I ate here before a few times and it was good. now after a long day in the heat watching trains at Matfield Green and a long hike up Pioneer Bluff to get train pics, we went here to eat. i was getting really tired and fatigued. i have Functional Neurological Disorder and autism, ADHD, etc. and i was getting fatigued and having weakness and plus past supper time. I needed to rest and eat and get my energy back to drive back to Emporia. we got there at 8:30pm and the sign said they close at 9pm. but the rude waitress said they stop serving food at 8pm. and they close at 9pm. She said we can come back tomorrow. I told her we live in Emporia we will be eating in Emporia. I had to sit in the car for 15 mins trying to get the strength to drive back to Emporia with no food. so we stopped at Huddle House and had the best waitress ever. really friendly and nice.
