I have enjoyed Cattleman's Cafe for the 32 yrs it's been open. Always have the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra

So you walk in and are thrown back in time by about 50 years into a diner atmosphere. You are served warm rolls and then comes the food. I had the Chicken Fried Steak very tender and tasty.

The food is absolutely amazing. Upon walking in the restaurant seemed to be an eye sore and could use some deep cleaning. The waitress made sure we were taken care of right away. The food is just like going to your grandmas on a Sunday after attending church. You could tell everything was homemade.

We stopped here while starving on a road trip and were very satisfied. I got the lemon pepper chicken with rice, carrots, and broccoli—the portions were generous, nicely seasoned, and sat well with my gluten sensitivity (probably hard to find gluten free food in that area and I didn’t even have to try alter something). My partner had chicken fried steak with fries and corn. The place/town was nearly empty at 2 pm on a Sunday but probably busier other times. Enjoyed a little walk around the town after too.

Five star cafe. Hot beef sandwich is the best I've had. Super nice people great service. Fresh rolls were awesome and hot at the table. Wish I could stay a week and try other items cause you get feeling they are excellent as well. True comfort food

Had a ribeye 3/4 fat very poor selection of meat Bake potato was cold Very poor meal cost 32.00 And they wanted to give me a dessert free nope.
Everything was delicious! I had the chicken parm, their marinara is different than any I've ever had! Chicken was crispy! The green beans were sweet and tasty. The rolls before the meal were A+. It was a nice quiet lil restaurant

I ate at Cattlemans yesterday for lunch. The waiter was horrible. We try to get his attention several times he ignored us. He talked at several other tables and did not check on us. He did not bring my husband his dressing with his salad. My husband got his side salad, 45 minutes later with the meal. I asked for tomato for my cheeseburger like the Menu said and I also asked for extra pickles and never got them I reminded him about the tomato and pickles and still never got them. We tried to get his attention for refills on drinks. I tried to flag him down with my hands, and that did not work. When He was at the next table to us I tried to get his attention And that did not work. When he walked by, we tried to get his attention, and he just walked by and ignored us several times. When I complained at the register when I paid. The Waitress argued with me and said he was not a terrible waiter and she said she was watching him, but if she was watching him, then she was ignoring her tables. I know she wasn’t watching him because if she was watching him, she would have seen all the mistakes he had made. She was not the customer he did not wait on her he waited on me and my family which was 3 udults and 3 kids. She just kept arguing with me and telling the people behind me I was wrong. She was very rude. I don’t know if they are family, but I am the customer not her. They are gonna lose business because of this and the owner or the manager needs to do something about this. The food was good. My cheeseburger was Excellent. The place needs to get new waiters and waitresses in there who are not rude and know how to treat their customers. The waitress who was very rude to me, used to be very nice to me when she waited on us before. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but I’ve never had a problem with her before till yesterday, but she should’ve taken my complaint and not argued with me. if she was having a bad day, she is not to take out on her customers. Everybody has bad days. I have bad days. Please don’t take it on customers.

I had the lasagna special to go last night! It was the worst food I have ever eaten! I’m surprised the would even send that out like that! It was over cooked and oily! The taste was just gross and was not edible! The salad was packaged with the hot food so was hot as well with no dressing. Even using my own dressing it was gross. The only edible thing was my side the okra it was perfect. Very disappointed!!!!
