Buffalo wings were not very good, old tasting and no sauce. Glass felt dirty with hard chunks on it. The restaurant looks great and the service was good.

We spoke withthe owner and had some of thebest beer ever. Do not pass this place without stopping. It simply does not get any better. Try the Atlas beer. My favorite. Grant , you impress in every way.

Big city vibes meets small town charm. The food was amazing, fresh and delicious! Our server Dan was fantastic; very friendly and attentive. Grant, the brew master/Jack of all trades came to our table to talk about his latest creations. Highly recommend this place be added to your road trip!

When we first realized we were going to the “middle of nowhere” Kansas for a wedding, we were all bummed. This restaurant made it worth it. Best steak and burgers we have ever had in our entire lives. If we ever pass through Kansas again we will likely make it a point to come to Sylvan Grove just to eat here, it was that good. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff!! Exceptional meal.

Unexpected Delight in a Small Town!

My sister and I were driving through Kansas on a genealogy trip and stopped in Sylvan Grove (population about 300) for dinner. We didn’t expect much from such a small town, but Fly Boy Brewery & Eats completely blew us away!

The food was absolutely delicious with a lot of great options to choose from. Their cocktails were expertly crafted, and the wine list was surprisingly impressive. Isaac, our server, was fantastic — super patient, friendly, and attentive, even with all our questions and requests.

We were also lucky enough to meet the owner, Grant, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. It’s clear he cares deeply about the experience his guests have.

This place is a true hidden gem — worth going out of your way for if you're anywhere nearby. Highly recommend!

We visited while camping at Lake Wilson with our 3 children. We loved the atmosphere, beer and food. The service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

The beer was warm, not cold and the food had good flavor but my steak came out cold! I also received my side salad with my steak, you should get your salad before your main meal!! The manager did not come to our table and they only gave me a 10% discount for a cold steak. I will not go back! I was very disappointed in service and the food!!

I highly recommend making the trip to eat here. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals, and I also recommend leaving room for dessert. It was well worth our 90 minute drive and we plan to do it again!

We try to get in at least once a month. I have never liked Alfredo sauce and I have tried many, but I tried theirs and I’m hooked. It is amazing! My other go to’s are the salmon, chicken fried chicken, the super salad with chicken…really everything on and off the menu is just the best. If you are lucky enough to get the Prime Rib, the first Friday and Saturday of the month, well just count yourself lucky🙂 I agree with all of the other reviews, best service and atmosphere. I would like to say it’s a hidden jem but…it’s been discovered!!!
