Food was excellent, the shrimp Poboy was full of shrimp and huge, could only eat half. Hush puppies had great flavor with awesome homemade dipping sauce. The tenderloin was moist and bread perfectly. The french fries were homemade. The staff was great and a comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be going back soon!

Very disappointed. Cajun food is my favorite. Came across this place online so had to try it. I had frog legs, fried oysters, and Mac n cheese bites. Very disappointing. None of my food had any Cajun flavor. It was all just deep fried normal tasting. It was a Friday night around 630 and the place was empty. The service was good but like I said the food was just normal deep fried food pretty bland, Nothing was Cajun about it

I have worked in the Gulf area and I know what real and fresh Cajun food tastes like. One bite and all the flavor and memories came back. It is real and authentic.
Great food. I have food intolerances and they checked every ingredient for me. Dedicated fryers and friendly people. Fried catfish (gluten free!) was fantastic!
Food was fast and HOT! Great experience everyone needs to check it out.

Got the por boy beef sandwich with fried okra. With mayo, lettuce and pickles. Kinda damp but not bad, the okra was dull I expected it to be a little more tasty. But still not bad.

Great food! I had the Philly seafood po-boy. It was stuffed full of shrimp, steak and a sauce that was awesome. My wife had the shrimp and grits. The service and atmosphere were great.

My Mom and I split a small blackened shrimp po' boy and it was amazingly delicious! The fried okra was perfectly crunchy on the outside and we'll flavored. The sweet tea and unsweet iced tea were fresh and lovely. The waitress was kind and personable, giving us room to decide our menu choices. The alligator nuggets were too salty for my personal preference, and my Mom said they were a bit dry.
The atmosphere is fun and festive! I really enjoyed the crab trap with the blue crab in it. The bathroom definitely needs a good cleaning. The toilet was filthy on the outside with yellow stains. Also, the soap dispenser on the wall has a mind of its own. You put your hand under it, and it waits for you to take your hand away to drop the soap. Lol. So, I suggested to the waitress that they provide a regular pump soap dispenser.
All in all, the food was tasty, and filling! The name of the place is accurate!

Loved it! I couldn't decide, so I got a half order of shrimp and grits and a half shrimp po' boy with green beans and Cajun potato salad 😋 Portions are generous - half a sandwich is huge. Bonus points for patio cats 😻

Oh my, that was the bestest ever!! 😀 To give you some background, when I was younger I lived in Louisiana. Ever since I moved to St Joseph, I have longed for the authentic taste of Cajun food. I have tried all the Cajun restaurants in these parts, not one came close.... Until I entered Cajun Food Coma! I am still in awe, I finally found a chef that knows Cajun food. If you're looking for real, authentic Cajun food, this is it. The other places around just have a recipe to follow, with no pallet to know what it's supposed to taste like. They get their food directly from the bayou!! The alligator bites!! Ask them how they get such big chunks, it's a great story.
