The focaccia was the highlight of our meal. Everyone should try this. I had the carbonara, which I found very salty, even though I am a salt girl. It needed the addition of something bright like peas or chopped fresh asparagus. The pasta itself was perfect. My husband enjoyed the short rib birria tacos. We had the upside down pear cake. The flavors were delicious but the cake was a little too dense. I'm looking forward to having the focaccia again and trying a different pasta selection.
We have always had a good experience here but there was confusion about the chef's tasting menu. There wasn't an option to specifically choose that so when we arrived, they said it wasn't an option. That was very disappointing. The food was really good off the al cart menu though.
They allowed me to book days prior to then tell me 2 hrs before that there was a private booking and that it was closed. It was on my anniversary. Mistakes happen, right.
There were 7 of us and everything was excellent as usual. This is our #1 restaurant to come to!
A friend and I made the trek out to Elderslie Farm this weekend. The space is very beautiful and relaxing. I personally felt that the food was overpriced. The service was also subpar. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or have new staff, but it took an abnormally long amount of time to get a cup of coffee, and our food was served without the beverages that we ordered to accompany it. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I was disappointed.
Everything about this mean was amazing. The sunset views at the farm were spectacular. The food was the best meal I've had in a while. The drink. It was such a lovely setting. I hope to make it back soon from Kansas City! If you are thinking of coming from far away, totally worth it!
Always a highlight! From the excellent service to the creative and delicious food, we absolutely love and look forward to dining at Elderslie! Thanks for making something so beautiful here in Wichita!
This place has presentation and atmosphere down. So well in fact that I think those two things are what affect their food prices the most, not necessarily the food itself.
**If you don't read this whole thing, here's the key takeaway:
prices are way too high, and this place charges an 18% service charge and then asks you to tip.
I only had breakfast so I can't speak for dinner. **
This place doesn't quite earn their prices. The food isn't terrible by any means, but for a small breakfast dish (and I mean small) every dollar above $10 gives me more and more of a right to be extra critical of it.
I got biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs ($15 for the biscuits and gravy, an additional $4 for the side of eggs). Total of $19. This was not worth that price.
My wife got lemon pancakes for $14. She said the taste was good but size vs. taste puts this dish far from being worth $14, these things were tiny.
As for the service charge, it feels weird to be asked to tip after an 18% service charge is added, ESPECIALLY when you order your food up front and drinks are self-serve. Doesn't seem like money you've earned from your customers, maybe some don't even realize they are paying it.
The service was good. The coffee had a lot of grounds in it, we inquired politely about it and the staff was quick to refund us for the coffee ($4 per cup) since they were also out of coffee at around 10:30 a.m. on a Sunday.
I did not get dinner here, only breakfast. Maybe the dinner is more worth its price, but I can't see myself ever finding that out for myself.

10/10 experience for me!!
Very cozy restaurant, food was delicious and you could actually taste the freshness of the ingredients. The appetizer focaccia was AMAZING! If you’re looking for a nice date night spot, I recommend this restaurant 👍

Wonderful farm to table offerings. Staff was kind and patient. Never felt rushed on top of it every course was outstanding. Will be returning for the next tasting menu without question.

We made a reservation here for our 15 year wedding anniversary. We were in town for our son's basketball tournament and still wanted to celebrate. I thought we would have plenty of time to freshen up after a very long day at the basketball courts but we did not. We were definitely underdressed, we had been run ragged and looked like it. We got the same service as everyone around us. We had the focaccia, slider, and shredded pork tacos. The food was incredible. I am so sad that we live so far and can't go back anytime soon. We are seriously considering making the 2 hour drive for the chefs tasting menu.
First time I've been disappointed at Elderslie. We anticipated the tasting menu, did not know we had to make specific reservations for that. Service was okay, nice young lady, but not very experienced. Food we had was delicious. The overall experience was disappointing and didn't meet our expectations.
The Bramble Cafe is the perfect addition to Elderslie Farms! We stopped in for brunch at the cafe on a Sunday after church and sat in the shade of the trees. The avocado on sour dough toast is delish…and the blackberry cheesecake-to die for!

WOW! This place has been on my list for a long time now, and this year I chose to come here to celebrate my 28th birthday. I’m SO GLAD!
I’ve never been anywhere like Elderslie, it’s gorgeous. The farm itself is on beautiful land that’s filled with trees and meadows. The restaurant is an old farm house with the restaurant on the first floor, it’s beautifully decorated and modernized, with romantic lighting and beautiful furniture, plenty of windows, and it’s super cozy! It provided the perfect atmosphere.
The food was AMAZING! I’m a huge foodie and when I say this place is 5 stars, I mean it. For appetizers we ordered the sourdough, cherry focaccia, and bone marrow. Yummy! Our meals were the pot pie, the short rib, pork tacos, and shrimp pasta. We had the sweet cream gelato and coffee gelato for dessert. Everything was so fresh and you could tell it was made by people who are passionate about their craft.
From the moment we entered everyone was so friendly! It had been raining and the hostesses offered us towels so we could dry ourselves off! On our way to the table every staff member we passed welcomed us and said hello. Our server was named Regan (I hope I spelled that right) and she was so sweet, friendly, and well informed on the menu and the history of the farm. She made our experience so special and did an amazing job!!!
The cherry on top is they have a little shop that’s OPEN 24/7 365 where they sell cheeses, honey, olive oil, pastries, gelato, and much more!!! How cool is that?! I was tempted to drive back out in the middle of the night for a new flavor of gelato!
I would recommend Elderslie Farm to anyone who wants an intimate but exciting dining experience. I can’t wait to tell everyone I know about it!

By far the best restaurant in Wichita, from start to finish. It reminds me of a meal we would have at one of our favorite restaurants and Napa Valley.
