The focaccia was the highlight of our meal. Everyone should try this. I had the carbonara, which I found very salty, even though I am a salt girl. It needed the addition of something bright like peas or chopped fresh asparagus. The pasta itself was perfect. My husband enjoyed the short rib birria tacos. We had the upside down pear cake. The flavors were delicious but the cake was a little too dense. I'm looking forward to having the focaccia again and trying a different pasta...
We have always had a good experience here but there was confusion about the chef's tasting menu. There wasn't an option to specifically choose that so when we arrived, they said it wasn't an option. That was very disappointing. The food was really good off the al cart menu though.
Everything about this mean was amazing. The sunset views at the farm were spectacular. The food was the best meal I've had in a while. The drink. It was such a lovely setting. I hope to make it back soon from Kansas City! If you are thinking of coming from far away, totally worth it!
