One of my mine and my wife most favorite places to have a date night or anniversary dinner the best ambiance , Outstanding Food and Drinks !!!
Carlos was an amazing server. Personable, prompt, and so funny! Definitely added to our dining experience and made Blue sushi stand out against other sushi places we have been to. We will be back!

My wife and I are visiting KC area from SC. She has egg and dairy allergies so we often find vegan friendly restaurants because they can accommodate her allergies. Blue Sushi Sake Grill was highly recommended by vegans in the area so we gave it a try for lunch today. We are glad we did. Restaurant was very nice and clean. Waiter was very nice. They were very accommodating to my wife's allergies. We had the chicken lettuce wrap, salads and a few maki rolls. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend.

Sunday all-day happy hour is INCREDIBLE. 🍣 I’m obsessed with the lion king roll 🦁 (like a glamorized california with more sauce and a flame seared finish 🔥) and my friends often enjoy the tidal wave, crunchy LA, and crunchy red. Favorite appetizers include the brussel sprouts (lemon-y and nutty) and crab rangoons. Pretty much all drinks (alcoholic and NA) are awesome.🍹Catch me here every Sunday (no joke)!!
Bar seating is first come first serve and you can pretty easily make a reservation online for tables as well. I really like the Westwood location because parking is easier than the downtown one. Service, especially at the bar, can be slower on Sundays but that’s really to be expected with the influx of people and variable staffing. Make a reservation for a table seat for faster service.

Had the pleasure of visiting Blue Sushi Sake Grill, and my spouse and I enjoyed every item we tried.
Drinks were a strong start: the House Margarita was solid, and the Sangria Spritz was especially delicious. For appetizers, we had the Crab Rangoon-nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable.
From the sushi bar, we ordered several Happy Hour rolls: Roja, Cabo, Hawaiian, Tidal Wave, and Itchy Salmon. Honestly, I expected them to feel “watered down” since they were part of a happy hour menu, but I was pleasantly surprised. Each one was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.
I’d happily return many more times.

We really enjoyed our time at Blue Sushi Sake Grill. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Our appetizer came out timely and hot. Our food also came out timely and at appropriate temperatures. Everything tasted wonderful and we felt the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back and would recommend to others!

Been here many times. The sushi is always great. The service is hit and miss. This time was a miss. We weren't greeted for probably 10 minutes. The waiter would bring something then disappear for 20 minutes or more. The bartender started helping us at one point. One order of sushi came out super quick but the rest took 10-15 minutes so the sushi sat while I waited for my date's food. Again, the place is hit and miss. Sometimes it's great, others it's a miss.
We were a party of 4. The wait staff left off one of the dinner orders. We told the person what was missing but it didn't come. We finally flagged down our waiter and he realized he had left it off. It took too long for the dishes to come. The three of us waited to eat. Very uncomfortable. The kitchen should have taken care of it right away. We eat there regularly and this is the first negative experience.
I love this restaurant! Their food is always fresh and delicious and the service staff is fun. Only downside is that they're so popular that sometimes there's a 30 or 40 minute wait on sushi but it's worth it!

Blue Sushi is an excellent experience of unique tasty sushi, happy hour all day, attentive helpful service and overall enjoyable relaxing experience.
Resturant was busy, as expected on Father's Day. We were checked in promptly and waited for our reservation time. One party left prior to us being seated very close to the door with many waiting patrons. Food was good, but slow coming out. The waiter did forewarn us, so it was expected. All staff were helping in any way they could. The resturant may want to staff up, if possible, in the future.
The food was excellent and came to us in a timely manner. Our server was great and friendly with extensive knowledge of the menu.
Best service we've had here in years. We live close to this location but have gone downtown because the service was so slow and not Greta in the past. Definitely will be coming back here again. The food is always great, especially for vegan sushi!
They saved us a table that was in a really awkward place right beside the register/front door. I'm not sure if they read the notes on the reservation, but the waitress was amazing, the food was delicious, and we came at happy hour so the price was fantastic too.
