We were a party of 4. The wait staff left off one of the dinner orders. We told the person what was missing but it didn't come. We finally flagged down our waiter and he realized he had left it off. It took too long for the dishes to come. The three of us waited to eat. Very uncomfortable. The kitchen should have taken care of it right away. We eat there regularly and this is the first negative experience.

I love this restaurant! Their food is always fresh and delicious and the service staff is fun. Only downside is that they're so popular that sometimes there's a 30 or 40 minute wait on sushi but it's worth it!

Resturant was busy, as expected on Father's Day. We were checked in promptly and waited for our reservation time. One party left prior to us being seated very close to the door with many waiting patrons. Food was good, but slow coming out. The waiter did forewarn us, so it was expected. All staff were helping in any way they could. The resturant may want to staff up, if possible, in the future.

Best service we've had here in years. We live close to this location but have gone downtown because the service was so slow and not Greta in the past. Definitely will be coming back here again. The food is always great, especially for vegan sushi!

They saved us a table that was in a really awkward place right beside the register/front door. I'm not sure if they read the notes on the reservation, but the waitress was amazing, the food was delicious, and we came at happy hour so the price was fantastic too.

Not enough wait staff and we didn't get seated, despite several open table, until 15 min post reservation time. Made dinner rushed as we had a theater date afterwards.

We have been coming to Blue Sushi since it opened but recently it has been getting worse with every visit. We will never be back after this last one. The waiter was the worst service I've ever received. My friends and I were appalled at how poor the service and overall food and restaurant have gone down.

Best sushi in KC. Their happy hour also makes it some of the most economical in KC if you like sushi. The only thing missing from this restaurant is a Kani salad. Please add it to the menu.

Sushi, sashimi and nigiri was incredible. And miso soup was best we have had. Highly recommend.

Great food and the server was excellent. What wasn't excellent was the hostess desk experience. We had a reservation and got a text saying table ready as we walked in. Restaurant was half full. Still, hostess made us wait almost 10 minutes to be seated and only seated us after I asked twice if the table was ready. Not sure if it was a staffing issue, but it could have been better handled or communicated.
