Bartender tonight was outside talking to people by the fire for wayyyy too long while people were queued up by the bar waiting for service. The “Manhattan” has Campari in it, which is not vermouth despite the what the menu says. Ambiance 5 stars, service and quality far from 5 stars.

The bartender went out of his way to let me know my lights were on in my car a block up the street. That was super conscientious. The old Westport is delicious and I can’t wait to try the appealing sauces. So far so good..

Bartenders were mainly interested in their friends, which is fine, don’t care about waiting longer than normal to be told hello. But the cocktails… the worst I’ve ever had. The Negroni I ordered, I’m pretty sure the gin was cut with part water, no Campari, the lowest grade vermouth, no garnish, plastic cups and ice melted within 30 seconds, adding more water to the gin-water. My so got the gimlet, made her feel sick from how much lime juice was in it. How does someone mess up empress gin? Pretty sure it was 1 part gin and 3 parts lime juice. Could have been cool, but say no. If you go, order beer only.

The house is a unique little bar owned and located next to Lulu's Westside. The vibe inside transported me right back to college, with an upscale house party vibe. The drinks were creative, but a bit lacking on taste (specifically the hot toddy and warm sangria). The star for me was the amazing Christmas decor, outside seating and fire pits, and caramel apple mule. Definitely worth a stop after eating at Lulu's for a fun vibe and quick drink.

My husband is picky when it comes to biscuits and gravy. He had the brisket and gravy, loved it! I thought the southwest skillet was delish. Friendly staff and loved the vibe. Coffee was tasty too. Definitely going back.

Chill, low-key bar! Delicious cocktails I can enjoy with my feet propped up and Sinatra coming through the speakers. My kind of place! It's definitely a vibe that everyone should experience.

How have I not been to @thehousewestwood it is just the cutest place. Yes now it dressed up for the holidays, but the space in general is great. Inside is small but comfortable and cozy. Then outside is perfect tables, fire pit, games (for warmer weather) AND the drinks are great.New Friday and Saturday place!
