We had a nice evening. Make sure you are clear on which level of spice you want and follow up if they mess up.

I've never been much of a gambling man and today reaffirmed that choice. I ordered the orange chicken bowl. What I should have done is went to Hyvee and picked out a frozen oriental dinner to heat up at home, or just warmed up a cup of rice. Both resemble the tasteless mystery gravy meat on a heap of rice. 3 bites in and I realized I made a mistake. Now just holding out hoping I don't get sick. And remember, check a dang google review first.

Very dissatisfied. Ordered 2 bowls and 4 Bao buns. Spent almost $50 to have two small entrees of which was 85% rice. There was very little of the entree included so much so that there was not even enough to mix through the rice. The Bao buns were not marked or labeled so there was no way to distinguish flavors within my group order. The entrees was no more than an appetizer and again, it was predominantly rice. I wish I would of looked at the reviews prior to ordering as I would of known that this was a common complaint. This was my first and last order.

Poor poor quality first and last time I will ever eat here got my order and was happy when it got here I have always wanted to try boa when I got my food I opened it and stored my rice around hoping the bowl full of rice with the one tiny piece of meat on top was a joke.... I know times rough but I was hoping for more than just rice after the 30 plus dollars I spent. Very unhappy

I don't see what all the complaints are on here. I had the Terriaki Bow, and the Terriaki bowl. Both were great. I wish the bow was larger, they looked much bigger in the pictures. The rice was perfectly cooked. I loved that the bowl had enough sauce to mix in with the rice. For the price. This was a great meal. ? ??

Felt like delivery so I'm scrolling uber eats and found this place. Looked good. Sounded good. Ordered.Proceeded to go to Google Maps to see where this place was only to see the reviews. Rookie move. Should have checked the reviews before ordering.Teriyaki chicken and rice had gelatin like chicken skin but no chicken. Rice was crunchy from not being cooked through.Steamed buns were disgusting, filled with mystery meat and cartilage. The pot stickers were edible, but no flavor.Heed the warnings, this place won't wow any bao.

HAS TO BE BY FAR THE NASTIEST PLACE I HAVE EVER EATEN. I got all my money back disgusting a handful of rice and sweet thick nasty sauce and like four dime size pieces of some mystery meat . You have been warned

Oh my gosh. We got a pack of three different types of Bao buns and an order of wontons. The food was seasoned incredibly and my husband and I couldn’t stop talking about how this is our new favorite place. Definitely worth trying. This is our new go to place for dinner!

These people are so disgusting and they are robbers. I ordered delivery and they gave me the smallest portion and literally gravvy on top of the rice and no meat. I actually want my money back because this is place is a scam. I will not buying from them again and I would not recommend anyone buy from them.

I enjoyed the original WoW Bao in Water Tower Place when they first opened, and grabbed lunch from there at least once a week for the next 14 years.I’ve just moved to Kansas City and was excited to see Wow Bao close by. I did order delivery. I totally understand if delivered food is cold or if the driver gets stuck in traffic. However, my driver had to wait at the location for 35 minutes to pick up an average sized order. This was after the location had already had my order for 15-20 minutes. Even after this wait, if I had received food of the same quality that I was used to from Wow Bao, I would have been fine. The various flavors of Bao I ordered were almost indistinguishable, except for the fact that the chicken teriyaki tasted like the filling was rotten, and the Mongolian beef had no flavor except for chili peppers. The BBQ pork Bao had some flavor, but the filling texture was so slimy, it was in edible. So $50 worth of Bao for 4 people had to be thrown in the garbage.

I ordered the two bao and teriyaki chicken bowl. The bowl was 90% rice and if there was sauce the rice had already soaked it up. The bao were ok, perhaps grocery store quality... Expected more from a bao restaurant.
