I was on my lunch hour and wasted 15min waiting for someone to come to my table. They need more help. I've always liked their sandwiches. I was in there last week too. They were out of famous #8 bread that they usually use and replaced it with white bun without letting us know. Totally changed the flavor of the sandwich. Disappointed.

They were out of guacamole for the appetizers. I ordered a grill chicken sandwich with bacon, Swiss cheese tomatoes and onions, no lettuce. I received lettuce and tomatoes. No bacon, cheese or onions. Our other sandwich was also wrong. Won't be back. This Artichoke is not anything like the original one down town. Sandwich were are awesome and correct the way you order them.

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE in Wichita-- Ordered (2) Famous #8s; talk about false advertising-- no bacon, no Swiss cheese, no cream cheese, no dressing or Parm... what a joke. And the sides where awful, not fresh

Arrived around 7:50 on a Saturday evening. We were greeted and told we could sit anywhere. She came to our table and we ordered drinks, a water and a starry, she came back with a Dr Pepper and a water. Then she never came back. We waited for an additional 20 minutes. They appeared to have multiple workers in the place. We continued to sit and wait patiently as she seemed to be the only person who was delivering food and taking care of tables. After being there for 25 minutes 2 people walked in and she helped them, never coming back to our table we decided to leave after that.

Second experience out east.
The first time, no pasta salad, no soup, no Ruben’s. The waitress was so high she couldn’t find her way around. Boooo very mediocre. Both plates made incorrectly.
6 months later… no soup, no pasta salad, no Ruben, no broccoli salad, Cuban sandwich was very mediocre.
Where’s the head of the kitchen? If the supplier can’t supply, in 6 months, then need a different supplier. What a shame. Very poorly ran.

I had a GREAT evening listening to live Blues. A one man blues performer, the barefoot hillbilly look but a national talent winner and it was clear we were lucky to get to come see him. There was no cover so we twice tipped a 20. The server was just as good at making us glad we had come, and everyone i asked just loved their sandwich and waffle fries. We WILL be back for sure. Thanks Artichoke, for bringing live talent to us. We will be back for more blues, booz and bites, whenver you host such talent. Btw i was informed and invited by friends from the local Blues Society. Thanks for working with them to keep us informed of talent scheduled at your house.

I love this place for many reasons! The food is straight up legit, the service is fast and the employees are super kind!
The menu is soup, salads, sandwiches and appetizers, however I was going to order soup but they were not serving soup on Sat. I don't eat a lot, so a whole sandwich is too much. Had I been alone half my sandwich would have been wasted as I don't like taking food home. As it was someone else took my half sandwich so nothing was wasted. Prices seemed a bit higher than most comparable sandwiches.

You simply can’t beat their Ruben! I used to frequent their stand when they were contracted with Spirit AeroSystems. They have since not renewed the contract and so now I visit their establishment and it’s so nice.

I ordered the half sandwich and salad special today. I took one bite of the sandwich and found the bread was extremely dry- the kind of dry that happens when bread has been left out or refrigerated. The waiter was very nice about it and said he would have the kitchen remake my sandwich. When he brought the plate back, I noticed the sandwich was oddly shaped. I turned it over and saw an imprint from my lipstick!- at least I hope it was mine. It was still on the same plate with my original soggy napkin (from the pickle juice). I decided it was time to leave, I got up and I overheard the waiter talking through the hutch about my order. The woman in the kitchen, far from being apologetic, seemed to be irritated that the sandwich had been sent back and I heard her say that she had cut the corner off! My waiter was very nice, but the kitchen staff are letting the business down. I’ve heard of cutting corners but this is the most literal example I have ever seen. Isn’t revolving food back out a health code violation? I didn’t even complain that I received a salad with ranch instead of blue cheese. Won’t be back.
