was SUPER disappointed when I picked up my cake. I went out of my way to go here as they did such an amazing job on the last one I needed for a graduation. The owner was aware the cake was NOT decorated the way I had requested. I heard one excuse after another and she was extremely argumentative. She DID offer to have someone come in and redo it plus deliver. My issue with that was that I did not trust I would have had it on time for the party. She was aware with plenty of time to fix it, that it was wrong but, chose not to. The first thing she did do when she brought my cake out was to say "we'll I need to explain something on your cake." I had requested a saying on the cake and it was written to big to fit it on the bottom of the cake so the last word was stuck on the front. The cake itself was good but, I also wanted to it look great and how I had requested. I was told the decorator thought it looked better the way she made it but, it wasn't for her. She offered to give me a partial refund and did but, that was also an argument followed by excuses. After her arguing with me and giving me every excuse she could come up with, I had to ask if she was going to honor what I was told by her over the phone. She reluctantly open the register and gave me 25% of my money back. She did not hand it to me but, put it on the counter. This was for a very special occasion and it was important to me it be made specific to my requests. I understand that when ownership changes other changes will also come with that. I guess the previous owners just set my expectations higher then what I got this time.In response to the owner. The prior cake was the same size and I'm happy to show you. The previous cake looked amazing and the decorator used the space she/he had to make it the way it was requested. This was a very bad experience and I was shocked to find out it was the owner I was interacting with.

My family has been using Cameo as far back as I can remember, and they have been 5 stars each time. They made my wedding cake, and we have purchased other wedding cakes from them too. All of them have been picture perfect and delicious! They are very talented with their free hand art work. They are very easy to work with and customer service is always top notch. When my family eats cake at special occasions, we can tell with one bite if it is Cameo. They have a distinct and delicious flavor of frosting and white cake. At my wedding we ordered sheet cakes as well as the tiered cake. Each sheet cake was a different flavor. My wedding guests said each was delicious and they had fun trying the different flavors. Cameo is my go to bakery for all my special occasion cakes!

I'm so impressed! The Peppa Pig birthday cake I ordered was precious and exactly what I had envisioned. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was kind and professional. I highly recommend Cameo Cakes. Thank you

Although a neat design the cake was dry and the cake itself was a lot smaller than I anticipated, especially for what I paid. The cookies looked good in the display but never tried them.

The cake turned out great, only thing I noticed after looking at a minute was that the dragon had no flame coming out of his mouth. I didn't have time to ask them to correct it,(was in a hurry, my fault) so they probably would have if I asked. My son didn't notice and he was the birthday boy, so no biggie! Cake tasted awesome!

Ordered a mini 3 tier birthday cake for my daughter. It was done beautifully and they have gorgeous cake holders you can rent for $5-$10. You can see it in my pictures. Every time I called in they were so friendly over the phone and I had the same experience in person. They're over by the Indian Hills area and the store is decorated with gorgeous cakes and examples!

First experience with them was my baby shower cake, they quoted me around $50 LESS than a couple of other places, so that made me happy. They weren't OVER Charging me. Cost $60 which I felt was a decent price for the custom design sheet cake. It came out better looking than I expected and tasted good. (Not the best cake I've ever had but it was good, just average cake) I will definitely be returning!

I purchased my wedding cake from Cameo Cakes and received a ton of compliments along the lines of, "...best wedding cake I've ever had." I also heard several anecdotes of people grabbing 3 or 4 slices. The ordering process was fairly straightforward. Unfortunately, they only have samples of the white cake, but I did not need to schedule an appointment (they either have it ready or will make it for you on the spot). They have hundreds of photos to give you ideas, and they encouraged designing your own cake. I went with a design they had on display. It turned out beautifully. Cameo Cakes was more reasonably priced than the other baker I consulted.

The flavors are nothing more than your typical supermarket box mix - they're not bad at all but they're not gourmet either (however you aren't paying for gourmet so it's okay). I do feel though that corners were cut on the groom's cake but obviously there was nothing we could do about it because we didn't know exactly what the cake looked like until it showed up just before the wedding (to be more specific - we agreed to text being piped on with icing but instead an ugly screen print was placed on the cake in lieu of the icing - an ugly shortcut). The wedding cake was pretty though and pretty close to what I originally wanted. We had to tweek the design a few weeks before the wedding though b/c they're somewhat limited in decorating skill. I was originally told that gilding could be done and then was told it couldn't be during my final design meeting - so frustrating! Overall not bad for the price but definitely not a magazine cake. You get what you pay for.
