I was visiting from Seattle, only staying one night, and I have no regrets choosing B&C for my one and only bbq meal.
While I initially came for the buffet, I was beyond satisfied with their combination platter and even happier with the service. Duane/Dwayne is the absolute best. He made my late lunch so enjoyable with his recommendations, conversation and check-ins. I'm particularly glad he suggested Wild Bills for root beer and the cucumber/tomato salad as a side. Doesn't sound like an impressive side dish but the tanginess truly elevated the flavors in the meats! Trust his suggestions! It was so much food and I was just one person -- he truly went above and beyond in helping me pack my leftovers (and the amazing spicy bbq sauce) so I could fly them back home with me.
The food and service from B&C left me with a great impression of Wichita and I look forward to when I have a reason to come back (and hopefully it's not cat related) especially as those special sides looked amazing!

Absolutely wonderful food service and atmosphere. Got the 5 meat platter and fried mushrooms with fried Mac and jalapeno cheese bites. The jalapeno ranch dipping sauce had amazing flavor. One of my favorite BBQ places from here on out to go too. 10/10

First of all, this place had a BBQ buffet for $25. This allows diners to make as many passes through the line as they are able between 11:00 am, when the buffet opens, and 2:00 pm, when it closes.
What's on offer? Ham, brisket (both dry and fatty), turkey, two kinds of sausage, pulled pork, pulled chicken, two kinds of potato salad, two kinds of beans, mac and cheese, pasta salad, mac salad, veggie salad, and several kinds of bread.
The highlights for me were the pulled chicken, pulled pork, turkey, and the loaded baked potato salad. All of it was delicious, and if I'm ever back in Wichita, I'll stop in again. The value was pretty incredible, and the food was very good.
Always a great place, great food and sides, it is probably our favorite place to stop when we are in Wichita,Ks, would highly recommended

I would give a 3.5 if that was an option. I ordered: Dry rub rib platter (St. Louis style), mac and cheese, baked beans and garlic slaw. Ribs: Very good – flavorful and well-cooked. Mac and Cheese: Sauce was too thin; lacked the creamy richness expected. Baked Beans: I was told that they were homemade, but texture/taste3 and size suggested they might be canned. Garlic Slaw: Too much mayo overwhelmed the flavor. Ice Cubes: Surprisingly great – cold and clean-tasting. Sides overall: Average; nothing stood out. Service: Excellent – attentive and friendly. Atmosphere: Music was too loud, made conversation difficult. Other Notes: Suggested tip was calculated on the total including tax, which felt a bit off. The rest of the evening I had a greasy taste in my mouth which I found off putting.
