What a fun place to experience. The people were patient while we looked at the menu. Very helpful when it came time to order. The seating area reminded me a lot of Starbucks back in the days when they wanted to you to sit and enjoy the coffee and company. Food was great. Have been looking for a place that does bagel sandwiches right. Will be back!Parking: Large open lot made it easy to get in and out.
I’m pregnant and was craving a sandwich from here really bad, of course right before close ? I walked in 5 minutes before closing time and asked if it was too late to order a sandwich, and even though she looked kind of tired and ready to go home she was really nice and made me a delicious bagel ❤️

Bagel Shop and local artisans!!I visit December 2023. I gotta say this place is just right for a quiet morning for one. Normally, places are packed and noisy but not here. They do have a drive-through around the building, but I stopped in to get the experience.The display had enough assortments compared to all the other bagel places in town.I moved to KS from California, where Bagel is part of the morning coffee. I had a pleasant conversation with the lady who bought the place. This place used to be owned by another business, and new small businesses thrive on people's feedback to improve and grow.This is a true locally owned business starting in the bagel business and had lots of room for growth. She said these are New York style bagels, and they don't look like store bought ones.Texture is softer than you would expect, and with a little toasting, bagel came out crunchy and soft, which is a new texture experience for a bagel. I bought half a dozen to give it a proper tasting before posting. ??California style is still missing and is a high deman bagel in Wichita.Lastly, my coffee was just right. I don't get the sweetness right anywhere else. It's not too sweet with 1 shot espresso in a latte.Thanks for the wonderful 1st visit, and I'll be back frequently.

Just moved back from the east coast and have been looking for a good bagel place.. I finally found it! Ignore the reviews about too much cream cheese. Good bagels have a lot of it, duh. The service was incredible, owner even let me try a few different cream cheese selections while I waited! Will be back for sure.

You know a place has you pegged as a regular but also takes pride in knowing their regulars when a customer can walk up to a counter and state a coffee name, and the Gentleman behind the counter is like I got you, fam.I have specific food allergies. My wife went in today and asked for my coffee drink order by just asking for a "Turtle," she doesn't drink coffee, and without fail, he whipped it up. No questions asked! Perfection! Thank you, Baker Haus!
