Very disappointed on my visit to the Prost Octoberfest on Saturday 2023. There was not a place to sit to enjoy the festivities. Their beer kegs were not working so the Flow of beer into the giant heavy glass steins took 15 minutes to fill. The glass steins were very difficult to hold while again no place to sit with lack of chairs for guests. The entrance fee of $35.00 for one lietter of the slow flowing beer was ridiculous and then expected to try and drink too his picture. I now have taken off my list for future festivals there. Very disappointed

This is a really cool place, and we enjoyed our dinner. Our food was just okay, but the server and atmosphere were great.

Ordered a medium board for our business event and it was a hit! Our guests quickly devoured the board, will order again.

We were on the hunt for bierrock and this place was recommended. It isn’t easy to find as it has no street signage. It is in a group of reclaimed shipping containers. The owner Manu was very sweet and took time to talk to us about her business and the “wall’ of beer steins from Germany. You can “buy” a stein for your own to use when you visit the restaurant and your stein membership gets you deals on specials throughout the year. The food is delicious, especially the brauts. The bierrock, not being truly a German food, was interesting and tasty. It is a Kansas favorite. There is outside seating when the weather is suitable. Prices were reasonable and portions were large and filling.

Family visited for a member birthday dinner. Food - none of us could really eat - saturated in grease and breading. Extremely noisy. Our table was near the entrance. When a very large dog came in we wanted to leave. It was not wearing the usual service dog identification. The salad served with the schnitzel was excellent in taste and quality. It seemed to be all pork, if could find under the breading and grease. After having eaten various "real" foods in Germany this really could not meet the muster for German food. A huge disappointment. When some could not eat the food due to quality, the manager would not really budge on removing some from tab. The best part of the experience was the waiter that served our table. He went out of his way to please. Otherwise doubt would visit this place again.

We had been looking forward to dining here. What a disappointment! We should have known when they allowed a dog into the small dining area. My son got the pork belly and it was so salty he couldn’t eat it. Two others had pork cutlets that were so over-fried they could not eat them. The bierocks had a tasty bread but the filling was tasteless and the bread was soaked in cabbage juice. We also had to send a child’s plate back as inedible. Meals we’re greatly overpriced. The small bierocks were $12. An appetizer of two pretzels were $9 and a cold cut tray was $13. None of us could figure out how it gets it’s high ratings. Se the utmost of discretion before you eat a very expensive meal here.

Really good food just a little bit of a challenge to find the door. Wouldn't have been bad if it wasn't for the cold North wind. Would love to try the patio on a better day. Good selection of beer. The pretzel we had for appetizer was delicious. Both our meals were very tasty. Cool building made from shipping containers. Will be back on a sunny afternoon to enjoy the area.

So glad we went here. My daughter wants to eat every meal here. My husband and I enjoyed the food and drink. Great atmosphere, would highly recommend. The area around it is so unique and such a cool vibe.

Visiting Wichita for the day, made a point of eating lunch at Prost, and I can't wait to go back. The indoor part of Prost is very small but arriving at about 12:30 on a Monday, there were tables available downstairs and upstairs inside and on the deck. However, though it was sunny, it was still a bit cool and windy, so we asked if we could move back inside and our server Chelsea happily accommodated us. Wound up being the only people upstairs which meshed well with our desire to maintain some social distance. The menu offers a full array of traditional German delights, and if there was something we weren't sure about, Chelsea happily answered all our questions. I had the bierock which was excellent. My wife and sone each had a bratwurst sandwich and both said their brats, and the rolls they were served on, were wonderful. As we wanted to maximize our time, my son and I jumped over to Ze German Markt adjacent to Prost on the second level. it's owned by the same family that owns Prost and carries a big selection of German import foods. Realizing my wife would want to visit too, the ladies were kind enough to hold our selections till after we ate and could get back with the missus. We were also able to go home with frozen take-and-bake versions of the Prost bierocks and rolls. Also a recommended stop if you have the time and want to take home some German favorites. My only regret about my visit to Prost was that, with an afternoon drive ahead of me, I wasn't able to enjoy a beer. The beer selection is nothing but German beers made in accordance with German purity laws and I'd have been fine with any one on the menu. If you're looking for good, authentic German food, Prost is the place to go in Wichita and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We ate at Prost yesterday during lunch & they were very busy. Food was awesome & my Mom from Germany got to visit with the owners. Very neat experience!! They have a downstairs place to eat, patio upstairs with gigantic umbrellas & also an upstairs room. Everyone there was extremely nice & pleasant to visit with. Make this a place to visit for sure. Only problem we had was there really isn't a big sign out front that says PROST restuarant. Just notice that it is all a village with big shipping containers.

Prost is the best German food I’ve had in Wichita. They have an extensive beer menu and the food menu is very affordable. We started our meal with the Bratwurst Teller (assorted sausages) and the sausages were amazing, For our main entrée we ordered Jager schnitzel and Bierock. Both meals were large sized portions and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like German food, beer or both.
