Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Was going to have to wait 40 minutes to get a table but the bar was open for business. Excellent food and drinks along with great service!

We had an amazing lunch at Cheddar's, thanks to our server, Kara! Food was great and we were well taken care of. Will definitely be coming back.

We came in at 3 on a Sunday. Seating was about 25% of capacity. We were seated immediately. After 15 minutes of not even being greeted by a server, we got up and left. Said something to the six people at the front and all I got was awkward looks. The 6 people am the hostess booth started to whisper as we walked out the door. No apologies or excuses.

Came here for my birthday and ordered in. The server wasn’t as quick, every 20 min stopped in and got one refill. A steak was order for medium rare, when it came it was near rare/blue. I nicely asked if it can be cooked just a little longer. 30 minutes passed by, and the steak wasn’t brought back. The server brought the check and we asked about the steak. A simple “Oh you didn’t get it” followed by “Do you still want it” even though it was in the bill. The steak was brought back, and the piece that was bitten off was also cooked on the grill which is not sanitary and the steak was nearly burnt to a crisp. Cheddar’s was amazing, I will probably never return to this location.

We were there for a hour and a half and never got our food! So we just left

Restaurant was out of 3 different entrées. Settled fir food we didn't want. Should have left. The server was excellent

Great food every time! My only complaint is every time we order for pickup, I'll get the text it's ready and check in once we're there and still sit in the parking space for atleast 15 minutes before someone comes out with the food. I don't think the food has been hot once.

Croissants and salad were extremely good. Pretty skimpy on the onion rings. Two of us ordered chicken fried steak it should’ve never been served tons of Breading what are little brown dried up some meat inside. I cut into mine and all went on my lap. It was so dry and my nephew Cut into his, and it actually went over his Shattered We sent them back and order something else I took Forever. No biggie it happens but I think what irritated me the most was When we re-ordered it was one Lonely, piece of meat each no sides. There’s too many good places to eat in Wichita. We found out this one is not one of them.

The staff is not very attentive. Marg machine was down but the bartender was blending her and two other co workers drinks while waiting on us. Had to take our cups up to the bar for refills. They were not very busy our food took a min and our appetizers seemed to be only halfway warmed up or thawed out bc they were not very warm at all. They ran out of what one of us ordered and after waiting already we just cancelled that and took what they had ready. Our server was drinking and eating at the bar we seemed to be disturbing their time.

Service was horrendous. Waited 8 minutes for our server to take our drink order and the 40 minutes from the time we ordered food to delivery. We did not see the server or management during that time.
My wife ordered the Monte Christo, and it came out warm. The fries were lukewarm. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Should not have taken that long to come out, especially not hot.
Had to ask for silverware and drink refills.
Good thing the company was good.

We had a last minute reservation for 14 and not only did the manager ensure they were able to accommodate us at OUR preferred time - he told me they “looked forward to serving us” after two other restaurants were significantly less friendly about our inquiry! The service was great, smooth, and very fast for how large our party was!
