It was such a bad experience not the oringinal Cheddars we once knew. Why does the quality have to change. Baked potatoes have been horrible multiple times. Who serves cold dry potatoes? Felt so badly after paying $60 for a meal. We were seated near back door at the bar. It was noisy and the employees were playing back there and chatty.

We eat here about 3 items a year, haven’t had a bad meal yet. If you can do a reservation online, I would. Sometimes it’s a pretty lengthy wait. Service was good on last visit.

The three entrees served cold. Hamburger ordered well done was raw in the middle. French Fries and other sides cold. Adam's Ale was perfect with a slice of lemon. Ketchup was good quality. Wait staff attentive without being intrusive. Payment terminals a great touch. Why didn't we send food back? I have seen the movie, Waiting, a few times. Restraunt was not busy when I visited.This is my opinion and experience.

The food was great, the service was quick but they sat my family in an area where the heater was not working. It was so cold that we ate our food as fast as possible so we could leave.

The service was excellent and the food was perfect. I had the Grilled White fish and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The other dish ordered was chicken fried stake and it was huge and cooked perfectly as well.

I highly recommend this Restaurant!

My son and I went in last night for dinner, as we were being seated the hostess dropped our silverware on the floor and then picked them up and still put them on the table for us to use them. Our server was nice, but not attentive, we ordered chips with queso and the Wisconsin cheese bites for appetizers. Queso was not queso it was cheddar cheese out of a can that tasted like cardboard and a small saucer of basic salsa but at least the salsa was eatable. The cheese bites came out 15 minutes later and were fried so long the cheese was fried out of them. Our food finally came a hour after we ordered and I got the fried shrimp with broccoli and green beans and my son got a burger and fries. That took a hour to make and oh we received our food the same time as a party of 4 got their food who got their 30 minutes after us.I never received the drink I ordered from the bar. The server never came back to check on us after taking our order and dropping off the food. I was going to talk to a manager but saw her once as she was at the computer with a server discounting a check and then before leaving as she was slowly walking by with no urgency or like she had anything going on. Overall it was horrible and we won’t go back.

I certainly hope it was just a bad experience but it has been probably six months since I visited my local Cheddars because I've been traveling and having other commitments. The cheese curds used to be absolutely wonderful and the ones that I were served today were horrible there were probably only five or six Kurds the size of my little fingernail and half of those contained no cheese. Otherwise I got a plate full of breading and grease. The manager did remove them from our bill because we had waited almost 30 minutes to get them. The chicken pot pie was okay but I felt like that was somewhat deteriorated from what it had been in the past. Overall I hope this is not a sign that we are losing the fine quality of Cheddar's that we have here in Wichita. I've eaten it several in Texas over the past 6 months and it seems to have maintained its standards fine. The service was good and it was our server that saw to it that the Kurds were taken off of our bill. He acknowledged that the Kurds were not to what he called typical standards. The atmosphere was great as it always is.
