Chesters Chophouse & Wine Bar

I had previously heard of how good Chester's was before attending. The food dishes were made to perfection. The major problem I had was due to the lack of attentiveness from our waitress. We were sat and basically forgotten.

We were there for a birthday dinner. Service was top notch! Made the night extra special and one to remember. Steaks were excellent as well as all the sides and appetizers. Finished with great cocktails, coffees and desserts.

Our dinner was wonderful at Chester's last night. This is our second time there and they were great with both accommodating our group of 7 and also seating us in a more lit area of the restaurant to help out the older members of our party. Everything we ordered was delicious to include the filet, salmon, burger, and flatbread, and our service was great as well. Highly recommend for a nice night out!

We received one over cooked filet and one severely undercooked filet. Sides and salads were good. But for a steakhouse to not cook their primary dish properly was concerning. Not sure we will return

Excellent food, but steaks came out a solid hour after ordering and our sides were not out until almost twenty minutes after that. Waiter did not seem to care that our experience was sub par. BTW... first time I've come across a high end steakhouse that was out of backed potatoes at 6:45 PM on a Friday.

I went to a celebration dinner at Chester’s. I wasn’t quite sure what I would eat since I’ve been stuck in the “mom zone” for so long, eating meals that would please children. But the staff did not judge, and was very friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. They helped me decided what I should try. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious! This is definitely a place to take someone you are trying to impress. Everything is well taken care of and clean. The staff seemed to take pride in their appearance and work.

I was invited for a dinner celebration at Chester’s. Let me tell you the food was amazing! So many different items to try, everyone was sharing their plates. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. The restaurant was clean, and well taken care of. This would be a great place to impress a date, or business partner. All of the customers seemed to be business causal dressed, to cocktail attire.

Went there last night for a company party. We waited forever for our food. I asked for my steak to be cooked well done, and it was medium rare. Didn't get my potatoes after telling them that I didn't get them. Asked if my steak could be taken back
and cooked to my liking which
was well done. It was out maybe 5 minutes ikd if it was the owner that I told, but he brought it back out, and when I cut in the center, it wasn't done. He told me that if it was cooked any longer it would be tough. Had other members in my group that didn't recieve what they ordered, and there steaks either had no flavor or the ribeye had a horrible amount of fat
Don't waste your money. It was also very loud and cold . Not a fan for the ridiculous amount my boss had to pay, not only to reserve, but the price and quality. Bad experience.

Very nice place. I arrived 15 minutes early for opening and they serviced me at the bar and took my order. Great place for a date.
Enjoy. I would definitely return anytime I am in the area.

Generally considered one of the best high end restaurants in town, their reputation is well deserved. Expect the menu to be priced accordingly.

Always consistent quality and top notch wait staff for the money, I don't think there is a better place to eat in wichita

We took a friend here for her birthday. It was based on a recommendation from another friend who had previously eaten here. It did not disappoint. It is a little pricey, so be aware of that. For drinks, dinner, and dessert for 4 people, we had a $440 bill including the tip. We had pomegranate martinis, wine, and beer for drinks. We had their poutine and margherita pizza for appetizers. They were good. The poutine split between two people is your better option if ordering fries with your meal. Their filet steaks are delicious. You can cut through them like butter. They also have an assortment of butters and sauces for them. We had brussel sprouts as a side. For dessert, we had raspberry mousse cake. We also ordered a Tumbleweed. You get a large serving of this. We split it between 4 people. We each ended up with 2 cups full each.

We had an incredible dining experience at Chester’s, and Jacob made it even more memorable. He was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also incredibly personable and attentive. His recommendations were spot-on, and his service was top-notch throughout the evening.

The peach pie flatbread was a unique standout and clam chowder was equally immaculate, rich and creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. Chester’s has definitely become a favorite, thanks to both the excellent food and Jacob’s exceptional service. We’ll be back soon!
