Alley and Mattie were the two workers in the store when I came in and they do an absolutely phenomenal job with customer service. Very kind and fast paced workers, they were a joy to interact with. This is my favorite ChicknMax to go to because the employees are always the nicest and most accommodating here!!

I’ve loved Chick’n Max since they first opened and I send all Wichita newbies to them. I did like the original restaurant and Max Snaks the best. The E Central location is convenient, but lacks the old atmosphere.
Orders are ALWAYS correct and ready promptly. A++ for carry-out!
Love the Family Meal Deals and 2-5 snack meals.
I have no idea why people frequent Chick Fil-A, when Chick’n Max is here!!

Customer service here was REFRESHING! Not just from one person, but the ENTIRE team. What a gem! Guy at the counter made ordering a breeze and almost got me to upsize a side (very tempting). Sat down and noticed the updated and clean interior.
Here’s the best part: when our food arrived, they informed me they gave me another piece for free because they noticed that the chicken was looking a little small. This is only my second time here but this checks out because I went through some Facebook posts where many comments from years ago talked about how Chick N Max’s portion sizes have been getting smaller.
For them to have the initiative to do this for me was definitely unexpected BUT massively appreciated. This shows the people at Chick N Max care enough to take pride in their work, take responsibility and take initiative to correct things.
It didn’t stop there. A girl came out to check on us too. Everyone I met was genuinely nice, even from hearing them talk to each other. Sounds like they have a great working environment that naturally extends to taking great care of their guests.
Onto the food. The smoked leg quarter was fall-off-the-bone tender. I’m not even exaggerating. My husband said that was the cleanest he’s seen me eat chicken but that wasn’t even my doing. The bone just came off! I just wish the skin was not so dry, tough and chewy (I couldn’t chew through it) because the meat was so good. I hope that improves soon.
The coleslaw was INTERESTING. It’s made exactly how I like it from the sauce to how it’s cut. The interesting part is how heavy-handed the black pepper was. I actually found it surprisingly enjoyable because it cut through how cloying coleslaw can usually get. Someone was really thoughtful when they made that.
Mac n cheese was perfect, extra creamy. Cornbread was nice, soft and moist. I wish it had a crisp to the top and sides! Great end to a meal.
In summary, definitely coming back. GREAT customer service, super tender chicken but skin can be improved, coleslaw had a nice kick, moist cornbread and wish it had some crispiness.
