It's a very nice restaurant with adequate seating and an inviting atmosphere.The menu offers wide variety of traditional fare, along with American dishes as well. My niece ordered the Chimichanga plate and she said it taste as delicious as it looked! I enjoyed the chicken quesadilla. It was large, filling, and came with a side of beans, guacamole and sour cream. I wasn't disappointed. If you prefer a Tex-Mex menu, then you owe it to yourself to try Chicos. I would rate it equal to Felipe's, and a tad better than Carlos O'Kelly's, El México, Tepa, and Los Coco's, which offer the same dishes in this category. The service was excellent, and the waitresses were from Mexico, which is a plus for me. It's family owned by the original founders, and has been a fixture in West Wichita as long as I remember. We have very many quality Mexican restaurants in Wichita, and I would place them in the top 10 without hesitation.

Excellent food. Everything was cooked perfectly, hot, and fast. The service and staff are all friendly and very attentive. I have eaten at several Mexican restaurants, and I have to say Chico's is in my top three. You have to check them out!

This is the bargain basement of American-Mexican food. The food is edible, but as cheap as you could possibly imagine. Taco Bell actually sets a higher bar than this.

The food was amazing! Here we have pictured a Chile relleno with Chile Verde on top! We also have a chimichanga plate which is a fried burrito with rice and beans. Finally we have their classic Chile Verde burrito with Chile Verde and cheese on top one of my all time favorites!Most importantly, their customer service is outstanding!! Let me tell you, we had a party of 25+ and the way we were treated, you would've thought we were a simple family of 4 at an establishment.We were seated in an extra party room they have to accommodate seating. Servers were in and out smoothly, No drinks went without needing. Food was out in a timely manner for ALL of our 25+ guests, and we greatly appreciate the service here at Chicos! This is a MUST stop in Wichita, Ks.
