I ordered the beef stroganoff today and had it to go. When I tried to eat it, it had no flavor. The meat tasted old and was tough, and not chewable. Normally I enjoy everything I eat from College Hill Deli. But this was uneatable, had to put in trash. Every disappointment.

After 14 of us (women) dropped in unexpectedly for lunch, and had such a good experience, I wanted to thank Ali, the owner, and his employees for being so gracious and accommodating. We wanted to eat outside, even tho it appeared it might rain, so they set us up outside. The minute our food came out, it started to sprinkle, so they moved us all back inside, without a grumble. We all enjoyed our meal choices. Excellent menu! I can recommend the Chicken Shawarma and Fattoush Salad. While there, the silver chain necklace I was wearing fell out on the floor, but the little silver cross was missing. We looked all over for it, but did not find it. The cross was a gift from a friend who brought it back from the Holy Land. Its monetary value was not much, but the sentimental value was priceless. I left my contact info with Ali, but didn’t really think it would be found there. The next day, I received a voicemail and then a text with a picture of the little cross. They had found it! There is kindness in this World! College Hill Deli, Ali and his employees are the best!

Such a local favorite! Their fattouch salad is my favorite with the chopped pickles. Dare I say the best fattouch in Wichita??! Chicken schwarma is also amazing! Yum!! Owner Ali is so sweet to his customers, and supports the Wichita community.

Met my daughter for dinner. It was my first time visiting. It has a small seating area, but tables were available. We were greeted and quickly had our drinks. I had the beef gyro and fattouch salad, and my daughter had the bierock. My gyro was delicious with large slices of very flavorful beef with a delicious fresh cucumber sauce. It was one of the best gyros I have ever had. The salad was also fresh and delicious. I'm looking forward to returning and need to come hungrier next time as they have a great spread of desserts as well. Great service as well.

Fantastic schwarma and meatballs.

I started coming here in the 1990s when I worked across the street. Then my husband and I recently began frequenting the deli on Sundays after our yoga class and enjoy a nice lunch. We've always felt welcome and had excellent service until today when the waitress was really rushing us - we arrived shortly after 1:30 and they close at 3 on Sundays. We were seated outside in a nice shady spot and they weren't as busy as usual. When I still had my wrap in my hand she asked to take my plate. Around 2:25 another staff member began collecting the napkin boxes from the outdoor tables and said they close at 3. Then five minutes later at 2:30 our waitress came out to announce they were now closed, very impolite as she interrupted our conversation. We couldn't believe we were treated so rudely when we love eating there and again, have always been treated so nicely in the past. Really hurt our feelings! Gosh, it's going to be a while before we'll be back. Please honor your hours of operation and remember that your regulars are who keep you in business. 😔

The chicken spinach wrap is AMAZING!! I highly recommend it! The Caesar salad was delicious as well!! Great and friendly service!
