From the outside and the surrounding area, this looks like a little hole in the wall kind of place which I knew right away was going to be a good thing.

This is the best genuine,authentic Mexican food we have found in Wichita. Bonus is that it is not owned by some out-of-state corporation.

The food is always fresh, hot & delicious. The young people who are employed there are on top of things, friendly & responsive.

Highly recommend the Monterreys.

This place has been in Wichita for longer than I can remember, and let me tell you nothing changes. The food quality is the same. It was 40 years ago, they do a good job and the waitstaff is totally on point, make sure you got taken care of very attentive... I did not have no pictures as if I was extremely hungry and I started eating before. I realized that I didn't get any pictures. And before I know it was all gone, but it was delicious.
