I want to start by saying I probably overreacted. But I was still frustrated.
I am driving across the country, and this morning I stopped at Costco to fill up with fuel. I figured I would run in real quick, use the restroom, even though it’s 9 AM probably grab a hotdog
Well I order at the automatic order stand where you actually don’t have to talk to anybody. I walk up to the counter and the lady is by herself and she’s behind in the kitchen and it looks like she’s putting pepperonis on a pizza. She sees me and says I’ll be there in a minute, and I understand she’s probably having to count each one.
Well she gets done with her one pizza, and instead of at least giving me my cup, she starts putting pepperonis on another pizza. And she looks at me again and says I’ll be there in a moment.
I reply. I’m kind of in a hurry and she just keeps going with the pepperonis. At this point, I’m done. I’m like whatever I don’t want the food. I gotta find a manager and get a refund.
I understand getting the refund was probably longer than waiting for her to get done doing the pepperonis. But the point was and why I got frustrated. She made me feel like as a customer I didn’t matter and that made me upset because I like Costco, but I also don’t like feeling that I don’t matter as a customer to somebody.
I just wanna leave this review to say look you know what there are more important things to be doing at 9 AM in the morning and putting pepperonis on a pizza that nobody’s gonna eat until noon.
Please take care of the actual customer that’s standing at the counter. The other stuff can wait.

It’s a great store to find your basic necessities such as eggs and toilet paper. Though the best was being able to pay cash at the food court. Get a whole simple meal for $1.50 is great. The ice cream along with the smoothies are amazing. But now it seems people can’t walk in to get lunch. Unless they exclusively pay with card. Since there’s a now unspoken unwritten policy that anyone paying in cash must show membership. Ironic since the kiosks don’t require membership to pay for your meal. Please make a sign so members or nonmembers know before going to pay in cash. (Makes me wonder if they are going to enforce that then they will require membership at the kiosk. Least they should if they are requiring at the cashier counter) Overall good store to shop. Except for the food court so no more walk ins for lunch unless you pay with card.

Bravo ? on the Shared Membership Card finding and checking every single shoppers. What a way to lose so many potential revenues that they could’ve get from those “non-member” shoppers just to potentially earn their $60 membership a YEAR. Not to mention that the existing members might cancel their membership through this “checking” on every shoppers since they feel annoyed. Great move, great move.

Love their products but hate their customer service! They act like you are trying to sneak in and rob them! They check your card multiple times during your visit and before you go to check out, and again at check out. This is ridiculous! I will be canceling my membership there!

If you don’t like syrupy sweet tasting foods or greasy and oily foods I don’t recommend the pizza and ice creams sundaes because the sundaes are pretty sweet and the pizza is full of grease on top. I do recommend the hot dogs and the smoothie drink thing though!

So SAD I REFUSE TO PAY FAST FOOD WITH A CARD AND BECAUSE OF THAT I CAN NO LONGER ENJOY SOMETHING I WANTED SO MUCH. WALKED OUT WITH CASH IN HAND. PROBABLY WON'T RENEW MEMBERSHIP. If you don’t like syrupy sweet tasting foods or greasy and oily foods I don’t recommend the pizza and ice creams sundaes because the sundaes are pretty sweet and the pizza is full of grease on top. I do recommend the hot dogs and the smoothie drink thing though!

Was trying to see if Costco was worth it to us. First off we had to have a tour to walk through the store. Look your a wholesale warehouse not Area 51. Your selling household items it’s not that special you need a tour guide. In a world where inclusion is highly desired you sure as heck should change your policy if you want new customers to not be treated like children on a tour of your store.

Of course there is virtually everything here. Prices are okay, but only okay because inflation sucks nuts. It seems like every month I go back the prices have gone up by at the very least, a dollar. There are still great deals here, and of course things you can't find anywhere else.
