I’ve been craving fried catfish for months now or longer even and I stopped in at Da Chicken Shak on 31st Street. The absolute BOMB fried catfish, okra and great fries. The staff is super nice and personable. I will be back here often. Thank you guys!!!!

The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Our large group was welcomed warmly and treated like family—we felt right at home. The chicken, fish, and gator were all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The fried okra was a standout, too—crispy and delicious. The staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Great food and great value for money. Food was fresh and service was stellar.
I went in around lunch time, they even warned me they had a large takeout order ahead of me, and I didn't have to wait long at all.
I got the duo combo and would definitely recommend it for someone with a bit of a bigger appetite. It is more than plenty of food, and it all tastes wonderful. I also highly recommend the cajun seasoning on everything and the shak sauce.
