“Dairy Queen has a lot of new employees and they are awesome! The blizzards taste good again, food was hot and fresh and employees were nice! One named David was super professional and he’s been in there last 2 times I was there and both times very professional and courteous!“
“The food came out quickly, and my malt was amazing (it was caramel and peanut butter). It was Dairy Queen, so I gave the atmosphere a fast food rating. It wasn't bad, just normal. I enjoyed my flame thrower burger, but needed quite a few napkins. They didn't hold back on the sauce. It was delicious.“
“This DQ is often quick to order and get food, good service. We like their ice cream and cheese curds, in particular.
We always do the drive through but recently went and saw that there was actually a long line (not typical). So I went inside and beat the line. The gal at the front looked like she hated her life so it must have just been a rough evening. Usually, not like this.
Parking: There's a chance that, when the line is long, the folks going through the drive through will impede the parking area (but that's not really DQ's fault...it's drivers that don't understand where to go)...doesn't happen a lot, in my experience“
“I stopped by this DQ on my way down to OKC, ordered 2 hotdogs & small hot fudge sundae, it only cost me $3.63 w/ tax. I live in Topeka and when I get this same order it's over $8.00! They know how to keep their customers coming back for more!“
“I love this DQ. It’s been here forever, so the nostalgia is nice. This is a small, mom and pop style ice cream shop, serving soft serve treats, soft drinks, and classic frozen favorites.
Drive up or walk up ordering, no indoor dining area. In the summer both windows may have a bit of a line but it’s always worth the wait. I do love my chocolate ice cream cones!
Dietary restrictions: For those with nut allergies it might be best to order a pre packaged frozen treat. A sign in the window clearly states that there are nuts in some of the treats and cross contamination is a possibility. If it were me or my child I would ask what treat is least likely to be cross contaminated. Maybe a root beer float?
Kid-friendliness: They love kids at DQ!“
