Edit: They have closed permanently ? The owner was ill and retiredExcellent food that I've been craving recently. They were very short handed, as is every other place. Worth the wait!

After many years of enjoying the food, it is over. They have not always been the fastest on getting orders out to the table, but you come to expect and accept that. On the most recent visit, it was one hour for the food to arrive at the table. The server was great, and apologized that the kitchen was “backed up”. The manicotti was cold and the garlic toast old and hard. We asked for a complimentary dessert for compensation for the extremely long wait time and cold food. The server said she needed to ask her manager, to which she replied “no”. Never to return...

The food is always great. We went in the afternoon so the restaurant was not crowded, this the service was good.

I had ordered two salads and soups but she only heard me say one i suppose. I also found a twist tie in my Defazios salad. Food was great though!

The best classic Italian food in Wichita. Pastas are amazing, any of their meat dishes are always cooked to perfection, and their house Italian salad is a must. All of their desserts are amazing, but they have the best cannolis in town. The service is really good, but just like most restaurants right now, they can be short staffed at times and run a little slow. Be patient, it's worth it!

Food tastes great. Was 45 minutes between Salad and Entree!!!Server response on delay: "I just put in the orders"Owner/manager on delay: "Orders are being held up" (yeah? no kidding)Who's responsible? NO ONE!We have been regulars (once a month or so) for years, service is declining rapidly.Paid my bill and will not be back.08/15/2021

Always consistently good food and service. The manicotti is absolutely amazing, and their house salad is a favorite. I've been many times and never had a bad experience.

Tried to call a to go order two nights in a row..today is Saturday August 7th..line has been busy every time and I have called 4 times each night..spaced out about 10-15 minutes each ..never tried it..in town visiting a friend..love Italian food..don't know about the food but based on the to go order management and everything I have read about the slow service....sounds about right

I really enjoyed the food here, which is why I didn't feel like I could give less than 4 stars. I had the fettuccine Alfredo al'carbonara, and it was wonderful. The garlic bread here is very good as well. Service was a good if a little slow. The main detractor from my experience here was how long it took. About 30-40 mins to be seated on a Thursday night, another 45 before we had our entrees in front of us (granted we did get our salads sooner)... It just turned out to be a much longer dinner than we had planned for. A plus is that prices are reasonable here. You can get a smaller dinner for about $10 or a larger one for $15. I'd come back, but hopefully service would be quicker.

Food was delicious and the amount you get is overwhelming. Be prepared to take some home!
