Dempsey's Burger Pub

Very disappointed with this place we have had large parties on Mother’s Day for the last 2 years we were turned away today shame on you Dempsey’s. You lost a lot of respect and service today!!! We will not be back.

We started off at Dempsey’s Burgers…first in line…all of us waited for 30 minutes for them to open. They turned us down when they opened. Too many in our party we even offered to break it up into 4 to 5 people table. They still refused. We were just shocked that they turned our business down when this has been a place that my family has gone to every Mother’s Day with 13 ppl!!! Shame on Dempsey’s!  Guess what?? They had no issue seating people that have 5 to 8 people in their party…🤔🤨 So we all loaded up and met at Bubba’s which was surprisingly good! ❤️

Shame on you, Dempsey’s Burgers. It’s Mother’s Day, and our family of 15 came ready to celebrate — but you turned us away because “your kitchen couldn’t handle it” and it “wouldn’t be fair to other patrons.” We even offered to split into smaller groups of 4–5, and you still said no. (We all were there @10:30 waiting for you to open at 11 first in line) We asked for a manager and you said they weren’t in!!! Yet while we stood there, we watched you seat other tables of 5–8 people without an issue. For example: If a restaurant holds 40 people, you should be able to serve up to 40 — no matter how they’re grouped. What really stings? You had no problem serving our family of 12 on Mother’s Day last year. So what changed? Very disappointing. You lost a loyal group today. Not to mention the manager you said that was not in, certainly had no issue answering my call from the parking lot! “Mgr. Morgan” had zero people skills, “its policy” he admittedly said the policy is not posted. We are trying to make sense of this decision based on large tables being seated as we stood in disbelief!! What kind of place refuses to serve an 84 yr old mom!?!?!?

The FOOD was great! But it's very crowded and close in there. It could also be cleaner in there. And it might be clean but, it's so dingy it's hard to tell.
AGAIN, the food is awesome!!! Next time I'll opt for carry out! ?

Parking: The lot is tough to walk across. I use a cane and my 87yo Mom uses a rolling walker. It was difficult for both of us to get from our car to the the restaurant entrance.

Kid-friendliness: We had several little kids in our party and they had a blast and enjoyed their food a lot!!!!

Wheelchair accessibility: We found it to be not very handicapped or wheelchair friendly. Even trying to access the restroom with a cane or walker, let alone wheelchair was nearly impossible. We attempted to use the restroom in the back area near our table. This was the first time we'd been there so we later wondered if the was another restroom the other half of the restaurant.

Average except for fries always taste stale, like they are microwaved to be served hot or something

Cool little place with good Moscow Mules. Had the bacon mushroom Swiss burger, and it's one of, if not, the best tasting hamburger I've ever had. 100% recommend.

Vegetarian options: The veggie burger is delicious

Probably the best burger I have had in Wichita!! The Wagyu burger I had was amazing and cannot wait to take another trip to Wichita and go back to Dempseys!

Payed hard earned money to play some music i would enjoy. Just one song, and they skipped it within 30 seconds. NOT

Bar tender stingy with the music and paused juke box so no one could play music after we paid to play a song js for this dude to play some mid ah songs food took forever to get a seat mid music mid atmosphere mid food

Food was amazing! The hostess was abrupt but I can’t blame her with how HOTT it was we couldn’t even finish our food with out dripping in sweat. Our server was sweet but we couldn’t take the heat. Get your AC fixed and we will for sure be back!

This place is the bomb. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and my kid had the house burger. We had the beer cheese with fries before and all was amazing. They were quick and super awesome. Also they have a bar downstairs ????
