If you're looking for a cozy, casual place to eat with authentic Mexican food, you'll want to find your way to a new place called El Fiesta Tacos & Cantina at Pawnee & Meridian. The chips were served with all sorts of different sauces (mild, hot, green...you name it) that were all delicious and a complimentary serving of charro beans. I can say that the chips were probably the warmest, freshest I have ever had at any restaurant. The asada quesadilla I had was absolutely amazing with the perfect blend of toppings. I also had the three crispy corn beef tacos with rice and beans. There was so much food left, I had to have a to go box. I also ended up ordering a pint of the charro beans to go, they were so good. Great food, great service, cold beer.

Amazing food and the waitresses were very helpful. The service was great and made us feel right at home. We ordered the fajiats and they are the best I've had in awhile. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat.

Stopped for a Tuesday lunch, arriving 5-10 minutes after noon. After entering, we waited 30 seconds before anyone showed up to seat us. We could hear that there was one other table occupied on the other side of a partition. No one else came in during the entire time we were there. Not a good sign. Run of the mill Mexican restaurant menu you find everywhere these days. After the chips and salsa were brought out, my lunch companion tried to pour some into a bowl only to find that it was frozen solid. When the waitress returned and was told of this, her reaction indicated that this happened quite frequently and that she would bring a different one. (No doubt the frozen one was taken back and returned to the supply to be served to someone else later...) Two dishes ordered - burrito and chimichanga. Both were edible but low end of typical. Service was minimal, one soda refill after waiting with empty glass for a while. No inquiry of refill for chips or salsa. Clearly not due to being overwhelmed by the one other occupied table in the restaurant. No plan to return.

Tried calling in for a to go order. Kept ringing then when answered it they were trying to make. An out going call. Then hung up on me. Tried calling back line busy. Then waited 5 mins called back to be told they were closed when hours say open till 10. This was at 9:15.pm this is a shame especially with a lot of bad reviews and I was recommended to try. Was hoping to find a spot closer to home.. Now more then likely I will never try your place out. What a shame.. If you're closed don't even bother answering. Extremely Rude.

Stopped at Tesla Supercharger and spotted La Festia a sort distance away. Asked nearby shop who recommend it. I eat vegan to help keep my genetically high cholesterol within bounds to keep off statins. Very accommodating! Whole beans, rice, salsa, gua'mole, tortillas, pick de gallo....all very good!

I have followed this family from several locations over the past years... it's just that good! Everything is made from scratch (contrary to other reviews). I have never had service or a group of people care as much as these folks for the quality of their food or your experience. Is everything the best you can anywhere, maybe not. But no restaurant will claim to be the best at everything. I love their carne asada tacos. My husband orders the "mexican enchiladas" and swears they are the best he has ever had (and he has had a few) :)
