This is without question the best Mexican restaurant I have been to, and I’ve been to a lot. The food is amazing, as are the servers. Family owned and run. The people are personable and wonderful. That’s why we go several times a week. And Oh by the way, they make their own tequila. It’s the best!Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere.

This has become our regular after church place to eat lunch. Always clean, quick, great tasting and the staff is friendly. We split the #2 combo and even with a tip it's around $20. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants.
We had a large party and I didn’t hear anyone say anything other than how good their food was. I think everyone ordered something different, and I can give my honest opinion that the drinks were good!!!

The entire restaurant was clean and was very inviting! Chris and I were hungry so we placed our orders right away! I was very excited to see Quesa Birria in the menu, so of course I went for it. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Finally, some really good, delicious Birria Tacos from home!! Chris ordered Beef Fajitas. They were delicious as well. Needless to say, we both walked out with happy, full bellies. Lol

I haven't been to the 21st and Woodlawn location in many, many years. The last time I was there it was a dark, unappealing place. I dislike very much eating in dark and dismal places; particularly, if it's dingy during the day. However, I tagged along on a birthday dinner on Dec 27th (their favorite place) and was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised by the cheery and comfortable environment. The decor was tasteful and the holiday decorations fun. I couldn't remember my years-ago impression of the food because the atmosphere overshadowed my meals then. But I certainly remember my delicious food this time as well as my experience. My mom happens to like Felipe's as well. I think I'll ask her if she wants to go this evening. She'll be shocked. I've been declining for over a decade.
