I don't know why some people try and give bad name to a wonderful place like fish and more. This great man has opened his doors so that witchita Kansas could enjoy good food that God has blessed him ? to do. I am over joyed to get a chance to taste good food. To me, churches Popeye's or Kentucky chicken cannot mess with his let alone the fish and everything that he's cooked. God bless you, my brother, stay strong. You have my support 100% let all of them haters...
f you like catfish or just fried food in general, this is a restaurant you should give a try. My fish was well seasoned and cooked "hard" just the way I like it. The sides were ok, but nothing special. The black-eyed peas could use some more flavor, onion, and seasonings. To me, the greens were weird in texture and flavor, not my favorite. The Mac is my favorite so far. Cheesy, creamy, and well-made. The wings were slightly undercooked and tasted like the grease needs...
Food was delightful... all except the cornbread which was drier than a desert. Big shout out to the okra and filet of catfish. Suuuper tasty. Also the tarter sauce was good too!
