Hands down best food and meal out I’ve had in MONTHS. Every item on our plates was a delight to put in the mouth. Got the mixed ceviche and Lomo a lo pobre and they were absolutely phenomenal. Beef was so tender and paired beautifully with the crispy yuca fries and soft plantain. Even rice was cooked perfectly. Could tell the fish was so fresh and good quality too. HIGHLY recommend both these dishes and this place overall. We will make this a regular place. Would hands down love them to cater my wedding too. What a perfect spot.

This is leaps and bounds one of our favorite restaurants in Wichita and we were devastated when they almost closed after Covid. We loved to see them back with limited hours, but still don’t see it nearly as busy as it should be! Truly we had seen it and not known what to think until someone had the foot for a catering event and our family went in and we have been totally hooked. The local/family owned restaurant is flat out incredible. We have had it catered, in the restaurant, and had it door dashed and it’s always on point. Some faves: fried Yuca, Quinoa Salad, papa a la huancaina (yellow and green sauce. Just wow. Green is spicy!), lomo saltado, arrow chaufa with tofu (tons of vegetarian and vegan options that are just as flavorful!!), arroz con pollo (fam fave), chicharron sandwich, and for kids meal the salchipapas. Think we are fans?!! We have also loved the desserts, like tres leches. We cannot say enough. We love you Gabby’s!

Food is nice but I don’t like how they wrap their silverware, the napkin should cover the eating part of the silverware not only the handle part, that way when they place it on the table, the eating part isn’t touching the table. Everytime I come here the silver ware eating part is always on the table, that’s not hygienic.

If I could give this place more stars, I certainly would! This place was recommended by a couple of my coworkers, so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did! I loved everything about our experience. The dining room was nice and cool (on a hot summer day), the service was top-notch, and the food was unique, flavorful, and overall absolutely incredible! My husband (who works the night shift) said he was craving Gabby's food all night long after our visit and wants to go back as soon as possible! As for myself, I'd go as far as saying they may have the best paella in Wichita! We highly recommend this place!

Overall not impressed. Lwe ordered chicken and beef. Both came out dry and did not have a lot of flavor. The starter was yucca and pork tenderloin. The yucca was good but was missing a sauce or something. The pork was dry also. The good thing is that the portions are large and it's plenty to eat. Overall nothing exceptional

If I could give it 6 stars out of 5 I would. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend this establishment to anyone who lives in, works in or even just is passing by Wichita. The food is phenomenal. The chicha morada is truly heavenly. I did not have a single item that was not delicious. The staff are amongst the most decent, helpful and nicest people I have ever met. And I’ve traveled around the globe. My sincere and profound compliments to the owner and chef.

Today I had the best ceviche and also had a wonderful Parihuela seafood soup. Both are great and I highly recommend.

Must try the Yukon fries and chicarron sandwich! The pork literally melts in your mouth and the green salsa is one of the best I've ever had!

Gabby’s is a rare gem in the Wichita area. I had not ever been inclined to try Peruvian food, but when I saw photos of this place, I was so intrigued.

My go-to has been the Lomo Saltado a la pobre, with yuca fries. Don’t be afraid to venture out and try new things! The rice, eggs, and lomo saltado (beef and veggies) go well together. Then, the fried plantain is such a mellow addition to the dish, and an unlikely favorite of mine since I’ve had poor experiences with plantain before. Finally, the yuca fries are such a good texture and a great change from regular potato fries.

I order extra huacaina sauce and some of the spicy green sauce that typically comes with the yuca too.

Our server this visit was so fun and it was so calm in there on a Sunday afternoon. The only thing was that there was no music playing for most of our meal which made the dining room so quiet we were afraid to talk. Eventually some music came back on but that was literally the only thing we wished was different!

Give Gabby’s a try and don’t refrain from asking questions if you’re not sure about something!

Best there is. The yellow sauce (not sure what is in it) is the best thing ever. Family owned and operated.
