Can't say enough about the food here. Best gorditas hands down. I hate they are only open till 12 on Saturday and closed Sundays but I understand as well. I travel 2hrs to see family and eat here everytime.

First time trying the place, and it was excellent! I got the carne asada gordita (corn and fried per their recommendation, SO GOOD), elote, and horchata. They were so kind and took the time to explain all the different options and even put in an extra item for me to try, but I can't remember the name! It was cheesy and spicy with peppers, and whatever it was, I gotta figure out the name so I can get it again!! Everything was absolutely delicious, I will definitely be a regular here.

DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS RESTAURANT!! Some of the best food I’ve ever had, hands down. I’ve been 3 times in one week since discovering it and everything I’ve tried has been perfect in every way. I got a corn and flour Gordita stuffed with asada, beans, and cheese..🔥 also got birria tacos, some of the best in town! The red chile they give you with the tacos is pretty hot 🥵 Agua Frescas are ridiculously good!! Elote is bussin 🤌🏽

I teach and only get 40 mins for lunch, so I decided to go get carryout. I arrived about 12:18pm and didn't receive my food until 12:50pm because they skipped my order. I was sad and asked for my money back due to a lack of concern for my order. I eventually got food, but the beef was so tough it took forever to digest it. Not a good lunch experience today. I'm sure we can do better!

The fajitas are real good. One of a kind, nobody makes it like these guys do. The seasoning is excellent and instead of green bell peppers they use jalapeños peppers and dice up tomatoes in the mix with onions. Straight fire!
The service is good... Unfortunately we ordered gorditas d'egg with chorizo and it was super dry, almost impossible to eat...it looked like dried meat hahaha egg and chorizo, there was not even which one to go with

It is the second time I have eaten in a Mexican restaurant and this time at Gorditas Durango it was a special experience, excellent service, reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere, excellent, fresh and well prepared food and above all the cleanliness and order of the living room and kitchen stood out. I am a professional chef and that is why I have such a thorough opinion... whenever I am in that area I will go because it is fantastic. Hugs
