I love Goblin. All of the staff are kind and fun to talk with, and know what they're doing. I've been going for a little over a year now and I love them all and the other regulars. My favorite gaming bar, really bar in general, and love going whenever I can.

Let me start with positives. The bar is large, warm, and has a great selection of games ranging from board games all the way to VR . Now the bad. We visited on a Saturday night, which is the most hands on deck night for bars, or should be. There was ONE lady running the front. This means taking food orders, making drinks and checking out games for about 30 people at the time. The wait was pretty bad for both ordering, refills, and trying to tab out. When we did get to order we were told that they were out of buns which eliminated half of the menu, and then told that the food they did have would take a while since they were understaffed. I ordered pork tacos which ended up being two tiny little two inch tacos with about an ounce of meat for 7.50. For almost 8 bucks, I could get upwards of five full sized tacos at most places. This was disappointing preparation and staffing for the busiest night of the week, and the owners need to revisit their pricing.

This was my third trip to grinning goblin and this was very bad compared to the other two visits which were just okay. One lady was running the front attempting to make drinks, take food orders, and check out games for everyone on a Saturday night. The lines got crazy. On top of that, they ran out of buns, I was told the kitchen was understaffed and to expect slow food service, then to top it off the tacos I got for 8 dollars were two, two inch tacos. Not the best showing for a weekend at a bar.

We went on a Sunday night and were the only ones there. Sevice was quick and friendly. They had great prices on beer and food. Cocktails were a bit weaker than I would expect but shots were well priced. Board game selection was modest but there was something for everyone and a good selection of vr games as well. Would recommend going with a group but might want to go on a busier tonight if you are looking for a group.

My little family loves this place. I get to have a good conversation with anyone in the establishment while my boyfriend can game with friends. It's nice to have a place we feel comfortable in and the food is always fresh and served with a smile everytime.
