Food was good, took awhile to get it. It was hot in there, AC not working we were told. Our waitress tried her best, we had a table of 7 people. I doubt I will go back, too expensive for me. I can't afford 35.00 for a steak dinner!

Had the best server/waitress/hostess (Kiki.) Food was excellent. From Tallahassee Florida. We recently got Connors Steakhouse and Seafood Grill supposedly upscale. Went twice and both times my prime rib and ribeye came out well done when ordered medium rare. Won't go back again. Even though the air conditioner was not working properly my experience at Hangar One was great. Probably won't ever be back in Wichita but would definently recommend to ANYONE I know that comes to Wichita.

This place was amazing. Best steak I’ve had in years. They make their own croutons and salad dry!!!! Flavors are unmatched. Definitely going back. Staff was caring and friendly as well. Overall I can say I’d rather go here than Texas Roadhouse.

I really wanted to go upstairs to the bar they have. Which is pretty cool. But it was blocked off. Tried to order a Stella , didn't have it...... And they were out of several food items as well.... Going downhill.... Too bad... Used to have some class.

This was the most expensive worst meal I have ever had. We arrived at 12:30 and were told they were only serving from buffet. He showed us before we agreed, which looked okay. My mistake was that I didn't ask him the price beforehand. We were in a hurry. There were covered steamers with three meat options... ground beef patties with onions and green peppers, grilled chicken breast, and a Sriracha chicken. The meat was overcooked and not anything special. They had a squash casserole that was brown/slimy on the underside, and a Mediterranean rice which was steamed white rice with carrots and peas (just like the frozen mixed veggies at the grocery store). The salad bar consisted of wilted lettuce greens, hummus, a macaroni and olive salad that wasn't good, and a mystery salad that I didn't touch. I ate the hamburger patty, lettuce and the rice. Desert was the small cakes (like you see at the Chinese buffet... but at least they offer lots of options like fruit, pudding, jello, sugar biscuits, and ice cream!!). These had a gummy layer, like they had been around awhile. So call me stunned speechless when he told me the price was $18.99. I blurted out "per person?!" And when he said yes, I said "you're kidding, right?" DO NOT make the same mistake that I did!! We should have stopped at the Chinese buffet next door where I am sure they would have had SO many options, including seafood. So disappointed. They should be ashamed for overcharging for a very basic buffet menu.

The wine selection while acceptable could be improved a bit. The steaks deserve a better pairing. That's a fine compliment. The Creme Brulee was well prepared, the sides were also properly cooked, which is a pleasant surprise from a steakhouse. The close proximity to the airport and the hotels made this a quick ride and an excellent meal.

Awesome food. Great steak. The hangar was a delight from their aviation themed atmosphere, quick food, and great service. Will definitely return next time visiting. Try the KC Strip! Very tasty due to the aging process.

I've had better steak for less money. I've had better steak at Dennys. Martini was "two ounces" mac n cheese looked promising but it broke that promise. Potato would have been better if it was cooked completely. Oh I almost forgot the ... It might have been corn bread? Should have seen it comming; its within walking distance of Texas Roadhouse with its 2 hour wait, I was the only one at the bar here. SAD, cuz this place has awsome decore.
The atmosphere was really nice, but my food was okay. I got the rib eye with macaroni and cheese with garlic mashed potatoes.. the macaroni and cheese was bland, and the rib eye was tough but seasoned well, and the garlic mashed potatoes are good. Most likely, wouldn't be going again. I'm pretty disappointed.

The food was terrible. I ordered my steak medium rare, and it came out well done. Asked for another one, and it came out super rare. The mac and cheese was shredded cheese and noodles, the green beans were barely cooked, and the breaded chicken bites were brown over cooked and dry. The only thing that was good was the fish and the bread. It's not worth the price. Very disappointing...

I came here as a new pilot to sign my name upstairs in the bar and wanted to come back to pay homage! I was sad that the reviews were so low and was still wanting to come to relive old memories. Surprise! Food was amazing and service was great! I’m not sure why the reviews here are low but it’s worth 5 stars and not the 3.9 it has.
We got crab cakes, onion rings, gnocci, Filet, penne, burger and all were phenomenal!
Big thanks to our server Kiki! Service was great and timing was perfect for food and drinks to come out.
