We got the to me meal and split it between my wife and I The ribs were excellent and a pool park BBQ was good we got baked beans and potato salad and coleslaw to go with it was very good

Where to start? The tall guy is awesome! I was amazed to see him just make everything happen while all his dazed coworkers just watched. Couldn't help but think the restaurant would be so much better if he did it all alone and all others were fired? But remember, i only saw a snapshot in time (maybe theybhave good points i didnt see?) Anyways. On to the food. The ribs were an A. The brisket and pulled pork were ok, but nothing to write home about. The sauce was , well, maybe you should bring your own? The curly fries were some of the worst I ever had. The baked beans reminded me of canned bushes baked beans? Am I right on target with that? All in all, not a bad place. Just not a great meal either.

Think of a BBQ place that sells brisket but only chopped. No sliced brisket. It is disappointing that i have to buy smoked meet only in small pieces. Very sad. I got out of my way to stop by here so I could try their food. I didnt purchase anything so I can not say amything about the quaility 9f their food.

My husband came in to do a to go order i had him get me the bake potato. It was not even bake right. It was still stiff they need to learn how to bake a potato will get it now on at longhorn steakhouse It is so tender and melts in your mouth. I had to put mine in the trash waste of money.

We were traveling through from AZ to see family one of our family recommended this place. We weren't sure if we would make it to the place prior to closing at 8pm. I called spoke with Chsnce he was awesome in regards to service, food orders, and patience as I had to call hi. back a few times ones we got all the family orders and update on time we would be there. The food was ready when we got there hot and delicious we were able to sit eat and visit even after they closed. people were so great, hospitality wonderful, food amazing and great price. Would definitely refer and if ever in the area would go again.

In town judging a bbq contest, so I wanted to taste some local bbq the night before. Hog Wild was right next to my hotel, so it was the place!
I went in at 6:30 on a Friday, and the dining room was almost full, but the service was still very fast and courteous. I got my food within a few minutes of ordering at the counter. Love fast service.
Turkey and brisket are what I ordered. Turkey was juicy and tender, with great smoke flavor. Brisket, unfortunately, was dry, and I had to use sauce to moisten it up. It had good flavor but that dry texture was a bit disappointing. Being my first time here, I don't want to be too harsh, because I could come back on Monday and have the best brisket ever. Just wanted to say that tonight, this was my experience.
I also had green beans as a side, and they were seasoned perfectly with onion, salt, and I'm guessing some sort of pork bone. They were great!
As a KCBS judge, I realize my BBQ tastes can be a bit picky, but if I'm back in town again I'll give this place another try.

Decent BBQ located in South Wichita. Very handy to I-135 & I-35. We stop here often on our drive thru Kansas on the way to Dallas. Plenty of handy parking.
