To be honest, I didn't eat there. I saw that they only had chopped brisket and I asked the cashier if it was chopped to order and if I could get sliced brisket.
Unfortunately, the chefs pre-chop the brisket and hot hold it. As a former pit master, Kansas City certificate judge, and lover of brisket, there is no way I would pay for pre-chopped hot held brisket. Absolutely not! It looses flavor and dries out. It just doesn't beat being cut/chopped to order and being able to choose lean, fatty, or extra bark.
I was pretty curious about their open faced brisket sandwich. The gravy may save they brisket.
I appreciate the cashier being honest, but I left and went to Two Brothers. The brisket was AMAZING and sliced to order!

I would say everyone acts professional here. The food smells and tastes great. I would choose this BBQ over a few others I've had.

My pulled chicken sandwich i ordered was rubbery and the chicken was 2 different colors I understand light and dark meat but the dark didnt look right and didnt taste right normally I go to a different location and never had this problem but think I'll go to the one on 47th by 135 perfect every time.

I purchased a smoked turkey breast for Thanksgiving and I have to say that it was incred!!! Juicy, tender and just the right amount of smoke, not over powering!!! I will definitely try the smoked ham for Christmas. We'll worth the cost!!!
This place is always amazing! The food NEVER disappoints! The customer service is top notch! Great people work here! They all need a raise! Lol. Seriously though great great place to eat!
