Update: We returned again on 09-Aug-25, and try some different menu options. Don't skip the nachos. It's an appetizer but definitely you can have it for your whole meal. The chips are definitely homemade and so delicious with the chorizo and carne asada. 🤤😋
We accidentally stumbled upon this cute restaurant on Feb 28th, 2025. We were in town for one night and didn't get to eat until late. After scrolling online to see what was open. My husband came across this place and I love Mexican food so it was a win-win.
First of all let me start off by saying, WOW, the atmosphere was absolutely amazing in this place. I loved that I couldn't even sit still in my seat because I wanted to dance and sing to every song that was playing. Great vibes!!! The presentation of the drinks were amazing and had a really good flavor and tasted amazing. I ordered the tacos and a margarita my husband ordered the burrito and the sugar skull. He enjoyed his burrito and while my tacos tasted ok, they did come out a little cold. I would like to try something else the next time I visit though. We actually made it to dessert which is rare but couldn't pass up getting the tres leches cake. So glad we made that decision!!! It was nice and moist, just enough and not too much (The way I like it) it was lined with strawberries and topped with a fresh whipped cream that made it so light, and topped with a piece of fresh mint. I was so stuffed and had to finish that cake. If I knew that it would survive the drive back home, I would have ordered another one to go. Overall this restaurant was amazing and I will definitely go back and check it out to try some other menu items as well as different cocktails. Do not pass up this restaurant if you're looking for a romantic place to have drinks and appetizers or with friends to catch up, either way, you won't be disappointed!

My girlfriends and I had big reasons to celebrate last night and this was the perfect spot! It already has a beautiful ambiance but they allowed us to come in early and put some of our own decor on the table. The drinks and food were great. Our waiter seemed to have a little hard time at first separating tabs for such a big party but he worked it out. Then ager or owner kept coming around to the table to make sure everything was perfect for us. This is a great place to have an event or just a fun dinner. Will definitely be back!

*SAVE YOUR MONEY* Went in for later lunch and the environment was super nice and the menu looked good, got water and it came with no ice in it and water was warm, no chips and salsa when you sit down you have to order it and it’s not cheap. Some of my chips were stale, got the trio dips and got spicy salsa and it was so bland tasted like water downed green salsa with no spice. My friend got shrimp tacos and the shrimp was undercooked and she said it tasted old. I got quesadillas and they were alright a bit disappointed in how bland it was. (I would recommend on the border before this place.)

I want to let you in on a tucked away gem, Julie and Cindy showed me a few months back.
This beautiful place is called iTZCALi Tapas and Tequila , it is located on the south side of central west of hillside.
When you walk in, it feels more of a dream home than a restaurant. Everywhere you look, youre in awe! There is beauty in every direction, wether its the bar, the decor or the people.
You feel cozy and at home with a room full of smiles, starting with a greeting from the host at the door, to the waitress Alexandria, to the awesome management all the way up to the owners.
I've made it a thing to try to order things outside of my usual, today I ordered the skirt steak and enchiladas recomended by my waitress, i couldn't decide on the sauce so I got both! Both were out of this world and hard to choose, but the green sauce i feel is the winner for me by a hair! Sweet, cheesy and saucy!
While I was eating the super polite manager named david came by to check on things, i told him I was blown away by the enchiladas! He said "next time try the quesabirria tacos, they are one of my favorites!" I was full of food, but asked him if I could order them now, you can imagine the look on his face staring at someome that weighs 140lbs.🤣
The tacos came out just as I finished my enchiladas, I bit in to one and about past out it was so good!! Of course the manager and waitress came back to see what I thought.. I had no words, they knew I was in food heaven.
My waitress had the gul to offer me a desert menu, I had no control, my hands were tied. I said bring it on 🤣 she recommended the tres leches, so thats what I did, obviously it was a hit, I ate every bit of it!
Id like to make it known my service was on it, I didnt have to ask once for a refill, she was on it like avocado on toast!
If youre looking for a place that is out of this world in every category, a new getaway, or even just a place to grab a vibin drink, Itzcali is it!

Everything was great! Decided to pop in randomly on a Saturday. Loved the dining room / bar atmosphere. My wife and I shared the trio appetizer. Queso and Guac with the homemade chips were a hit but the salsa not so much. We both ordered tacos al pastor for our entrees and loved it! Pork was cooked great and finally found a restaurant in Wichita that paired onions with grilled pineapple on their al pastor!! Tacos and rice were very flavorful and filling. Definitely will be coming back soon!

The food here is insanely good! Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The vibe is classy and inviting, with beautiful handmade details throughout the space that make it feel truly special.
They have over 650+ tequilas (yes, really), and the staff helped us pick the perfect ones. What really made the night though were the owners, Navid and Veronica. They’re so genuine and welcoming—you can tell they love what they do. This place is a gem 💎
