If you’re looking for late-night comfort food done right, Jacky Chan Sushi is where it’s at. Open from 3PM to 3AM, it’s perfect for those late cravings or post-shift meals. We came here because of a hilarious review that said the owner “teaches you the right way, not the white way” and that alone made us want to check it out. It did not disappoint.
The pho was PHO’kin AMAZING. The broth was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Honestly, the best pho we’ve had in Wichita. Way better than Pho MC across Harry where I once found a roach in my bowl.
The owner was super friendly and helpful. You can tell he genuinely cares about the food and his customers. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken for one of my daughters and she enjoyed every bite.
I wish I had taken pictures, but the food didn’t last long enough. We’ll definitely be back!

The next time someone ask for sauce go get the damn sauce. You telle it's some in my bag, an it's some small bs. Next time get the damn sauce! An when u push a 8 drink on someone you better make damn sure it's worth 8$! Homemade nasty ass drink! Money is to tight to be drinking sour milk.
Didn’t go but I wanna!
A gem of a place! Excellent customer service, amazing food at a fair price. Would highly recommend if you're in the area with midnight munchies

Dined in on one of our late nights in Wichita. We used to go to the old location back in the day when they had a drive thru, and food/service is as delicious/great as I could remember. It's always nice to see the owner so detailed into his craft; working hard to serve his customers, and always giving you that personable experience. The crawfish is delicious, probably one of the best seasonings I've ever had, unlike the kind you get at buffets. It's great food to curb the appetite on a late night. Definitely recommend coming here to support this small business. Thanks, Jacky!

The good: Food was very fresh and tasty. We could tell that the yellowtail and salmon was fresh. We had 2 sushi rolls, curry chicken fried rice, baked oysters on the half shell, a champagne flute (?) of red and white wine.
The bad: As stated in previous posts, the fried rice had about 8 small pieces of chicken. Sushi slices were very thick making it difficult to eat. Oysters were somewhere between raw and cooked making for a weird texture.
The REALLY BAD: We were charged $13/glass for the wine. Given the wine was served in small champagne flutes, I would say we maybe had 3 ounces. When we were seated we asked for a drink menu to be told there were none. Given our experience in practically every restaurant that serves alcohol, we found this troubling but figured how bad could it be. Our waiter was very very difficult to understand when telling us what alcoholic drinks were available so we just settled on wine. While waiting for our food, I got up and looked at the bottles of wine and liquor at the counter. It was a very limited selection and the wines we were served were low end Robert Mondavi that sell for $10-$13/bottle. We were never given a check so eventually we got up and went to the register. Total bill with 18% tip was $90. I didn’t pay attention to the amount since it was Valentine’s Day and we splurged. When I got in the car I noticed we were charged $26 for the wine. I could have purchased two bottles at the liquor store across the street for that price.
My advice is if you decide to patronize this establishment, DO NOT order alcohol and if you do, demand the price and have them put it in an appropriate glass.
I would have given a much better overall review but the dishonesty was very offsetting and left a bad impression. We will not be going back ever.

I've had sushi 1000 times, this was the best. I asked for extra spicy, he has homemade chili that finally exceeded my standards. Then as I was leaving, he said I reminded him of Spider-man :). I will be going again, and I want it even more now that I am writing this review. Prices and sushi are better than anywhere else in town, but be okay with waiting 15 minutes.

ordered online, miso soup was disgusting and there was absolutely no flavor what so ever. the $16 sweet and sour chicken bento box came with 3 tiny pieces of chicken with not even 1/5 of an inch of sweet and sour sauce??

Feels like a cafeteria, the food is served on cafeteria dishes and presentation is nonexistent for typical high end sushi prices.
