Been coming to Japan express for more than 20 years, its food is the most close to home ( Taiwan) food in Wichita and most authentic taste. The food is always served in great consistent quality and always delicious.
The food here is soooo good. I have never been to Japan (China yet, Japan and the rest of the south pacific, not quite yet.They have a "platter " that's katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken, a salad, rice, and a steamed meat bun. So, so good. We did make an agreement tho, that next time at least one of us needs to try something new.

When I walked in, I almost walked back out. It was small and antiquated and the carpet was dirty with a strange smell. I opted to stay and ordered a couple of different things, the food is actually pretty good. A note is they don't have fountain drinks.
