I don't know what to say! Matt was the best server and everything in between when it comes to hospitality! The beer, the food, the desert are wonderful! We will be coming back again and again as long as you guys keep up the momentum!We have been back 2 more times and the consistency of this place is above anywhere else . The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. I really look forward coming here after a hard day.They also hold the door open for you and everyone seems very cheerful.

Overall a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and attentive. The food was pretty good and the building was very clean.I had the Mac n cheese with some crispy chicken. It was a good blend and everything was cooked right. My only complaint would be price. Expect to pay a little more than your average wichita restaurant here.

I am a visitor to the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. I chose to eat at the Bar and Sam was my waiter/Bar Tender. I not only had one of the best meals ever (The pork chops were heavenly), I also had some of the best service since I came to Kansas! Sam was delightful from start to finish, he even made me a really great list of other places to visit before I depart. I laughed and danced in my seat the entire time!

We enjoyed our meal and our server, Evan, was great! The salmon dip was exceptional and the brussel sprouts were delicious! The desserts really topped off the meal- so huge and amazing!! Best carrot cake ever!! Definitely going back again! Super positive atmosphere.

We went to Jax for my birthday and everything was absolutely wonderful! Our drinks were balanced and delicious. We got the skillet queso and it was amazing. I got their fresh Red Snapper which was delicious and my husband got the Mac and Cheese. Journey was our waitress and she did a fantastic job making sure we were taken care of! Would highly recommend!

The service was wonderful. We loved our server,Jade! The food was delicious. My husband kept raving about the brussel sprouts so much we had to ask what they were cooked with. It was Basil jalapeño jelly. Jade sent us home with a sample, thank you! And the bread pudding. Just. Stop. SO incredibly indulgent. The best I ever had! We ate a fabulous dinner here for the 1st time and impressed with it all! Jade was our server and did a phenomenal job explaining everything and took excellent care of us. She was so sweet. We loved the atmosphere, the music, the staff, and the food. We tried their lobster cargo appetizer and was worth every penny. We had the Pepper KC strip which was cooked and flavored to perfection. The sides were green beans and crispy Brussels sprouts. The best sides we have ever had. Then we ended it with of course dessert. We tried the bread pudding which was also the best we had ever had. I would call it a perfect meal. Go try it!

First time into Jax here. For a small birthday celebration. What a great place and a pleasant. Wish we’d found this place sooner cause we will definitely be back. The restaurant is beautiful with an intimate but welcoming atmosphere. Youngish staff were accommodating, friendly, and enthusiastic. It happened to be happening hour for both drinks and some food choices as well. The drinks are superbly done and well poured. Try the ginger Manhattan! Great! Our server, Evan suggested the lobster cargo appetizer and it was very good. Lobster bites in butter and cheese with breads. Interesting and excellent. Then we chose several items from the happy hour food menu to share. Mac n cheese, (good). Steak tenderloin slices on bread (small but fabulously done). The star though was a fabulous chicken enchilada! Wow it was large and just delicious! Best I have ever had so many flavors melded together perfectly with a green sauce. Mmmmmm. Our server a young man Evan could not have been better. Helped us with the menu and our choices. And made our evening enjoyable and special. Thank you very much, Evan.

Great restaurant . Taste like a home cooked meal. Pork chops are your best deal given you get 2 big chops. The salmon was cooked perfect topped with red onions and a light butter sauce. Service excellent. Manager came by twice.
Went to celebrate to family birthdays. Great service, not a lengthy menu but what they offered was top notch. I had the porchops with jalapeño jam....to die for. Generous serving, so got to take some home. Both birthday girls got a birthday dessert which was equally delicious. Worth the price. Will be back.

We tried out Jax Restaurant and Bar tonight and it was SO GOOD! I've seriously never had a brussel sprout that tasted so amazing. (You don't have to like brussel sprouts to love theirs!!) The manager also visits each table and leaves a little card with a QR code so you can text the manager directly if there's an issue. Great service, great food, great music, great atmosphere, 100% coming back.

Amazine Restaurant! Go there! My ribeye was out of this world! A 60th anniversary dinner in a small room by ourselves, great friends who also loved their food, and hospitality by Brittany, server, all made for a wonderful evening! Jax has the right combination that we will definitely return for. Great appetizers and drinks in addition to celebratory chocolate tower at the end all made our event so special.

Had the French dip sandwich. It was so old and tough had to use a knife to cut in small pieces to eat. Service was nonexistent! Didn’t even refill our water. Won’t go back.

This was our first visit and we will be returning for sure. Relaxing atmosphere and our server Matt was excellent! Three entrees at our table: Mac and Cheese + Chicken was SO good! The cheese was creamy and flavorful without being too rich and the chicken was juicy and crispy. Salmon filet was cooked just right and the sauce was delicious. Chipotle Chicken sandwich had just the right amount of spice. Brussel sprouts were the only slight disappointment of the meal as they were not crispy, but all other sides were very tasty. Recommend the salted caramel martini, too!
