“I don’t get mad when restaurants make mistakes. I do get mad however when they make mistakes and then they make excuses or don’t try to make it right. Today I placed a catering order for pick up at 3:30pm. I showed up right at 3:30 and the person who helped me at the counter didn’t know about it. They didn’t have it started let alone complete. However the manager dropped what she was doing, gave me a drink, and promptly started my order. She didn’t make excuses, she just said “very sorry” and started my order. They had it completed within 15 minutes and as I was leaving she offered me free cookies. I don’t know her name but she was awesome! Great job to her and her team!“
“Been going to this place almost daily for several years. Always order the same thing (#4 no tomato) and often they start making it for me as I walk in the door. The quality is extremely consistent and I have always found them to be very very friendly here.The last time I was there (last Wednesday) there was a new employee (new to me anyway) at the register, extremely friendly and helpful, and I think he got discombobulated a bit when the guy that knows me well made my sandwich as I was walking in and put it on the counter when we were in the process of my paying. I took the card out when it said "approved" and the guy said that it must not have gone through because the receipt didn't print out, could I please run it again. I told him that it said it had been approved, but no big deal, I ran it again and the receipt printed out. I sat down and checked my credit union checking account and it showed that two charges of $10.95 just went through. I took it back and showed him. He was extremely helpful but he said he had to go back and talk to the manager. (She has always been extremely friendly, always says hi, and smiles at me whenever I go in.) I was sure she'd take care of it.He came back to my table a minute later and said that she told him only one charge had gone through, but to give the bank a few days and I could always come back and get a refund. (He was very apologetic about this.) This response kind of surprised me, since I had clearly shown him (and he relayed it to Melissa) that two charges had just appeared in my checking account.OK, I thought. I'll give it a few days. Maybe there's something about this I don't understand. It's now been four days and both charges are still there. This has NOTHING to do with the money. I just was hurt more than anything to be treated this way. Sorry Jimmy John''s. You've lost a customer for life.“
“They were out of the picklewich that I had on a car side order, when I checked in Alyssa came out to my car to tell me they unfortunately ran out and told me I can pick any other sandwich I wanted and she’ll make it. She was so sweet and kind!“
“While I was not impressed with the app when placing the catering order, management went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the food and service. This was my first time to order from Jimmy John’s. I placed an order for box lunches. I ordered 14 slims. I had no idea these don’t come with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes-standard. Only the ham had cheese as an option on the app. Weird. I also called about an hour and a half before my pick up time to get it rushed for an earlier pickup. The manager gave us the veggies on the side and she had the sandwiches ready when I arrived for pickup. Really appreciate her going above and beyond.“
