Jimmy's Egg - Wichita, Douglas & Hydraulic

Started out as a great breakfast. Went back to get to go orders for our kids and the order was wrong. We take it inside and the lady behind the bar was very rude. She implied we placed the order wrong and when we told her we didn’t she checked again and realized she put the order in wrong. Never apologized and acted like it was such a hassle to fix it. As my husband was talking and explaining to her what was missing she deliberately walked off and ignored him. She finally comes back and just gives us the food and says nothing. We did notify the manager. We are driving home and the order is still wrong. Very disappointed after having such a great first experience. Most likely will not return because of her.

This is a hostile restaurant environment.The manager Shannon and 2 others severs were complaining about a server gossiping and talking about them. And they are doing the same in the dining room for all of the guest to hear. There were only 6 people in the place. But they were loud enough from me to hear the whole thing. Please and really who is Shannon s boss? I hope this never happens to anyone else

Food was great, but it took a very long time to get our drink order/food order in. Another party seated next to ours, whom had came in and sat after us (a party larger than ours with the same waiter) had received their drinks and food before us. Not sure if they were short staffed or what.

My waitress Laurie was awesome , excellent service.
I got the Country skillet, the biscuit was ridiculous, softball size, hash browns, were greasy warm white shredded potatoes, gravy to biscuit ration, 1 to 10, and had two egg whites, with it scrambled and bacon.
I was disappointed. The best things were the bacon and the professionalism of the server. The price was good, if the food would have been good.

That was a good place to eat! Clean area. Clean facility. The staff were polite and prompt. I enjoyed the experience.

Consistently good food, at fair prices, it has the Denny's or IHOP type decor, and it's mostly a breakfast place. It offers breakfast items such as avocado toast, and a Keto breakfast bowl, as well as the more usual items.

I use to love the place at Douglas and Hydraulic but due to current situation and Sunday's service we will no longer be back. I'm sorry I loved the friendly environment and service we got but things change so it is time to move on. I recommend this place to everyone just don't make a complaint about service in person because things change after that. I found out being honest doesn't always pay off. thank you again.

Ordered eggs benedict. The eggs were well done, it was not runny and the hollandaise sauce tasted like a mix of mayo and ketchup. Needs improvement.
