Been going to Kirby's for about 12 years. Cut my teeth in the live music scene there, as have soooo many other young weirdos. Always been a good spot for new comers to run into something unexpected and rub shoulders/make connections with other artists. I've seen it experience some ups n downs over the years, but some cool folks in THE domestic band in town recently bought out some previous owners who held poor views on LGBTQIA folks, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the new ownership, and what the future of this essential Wichita dive bar has in store.
