Highly recommend the pastrami sandwich if you want a quick bite to eat. No frills but filling and great quality pastrami. Staff was lovely too 💖

My favorite cafe and bakery in Wichita a hidden gem full of the best french style pastries and soups. Their lunches and breakfasts are nothing to scoff at either especially if you like a good quiche!

The lettuce in my salad was brown and wilted. There was a hair in my soup. My husband's chicken salad sandwich was okay. I won't go back. I'm not sure if the gal I gave my salad back to understood why I wouldn't eat it. Oh well . . . Expensive mistake.

I ate here with my team of 7 from work. You place your order at the counter… the desserts are so pretty you want to try all of them. In the picture is the cannoli, red velvet cake, and lemon tart. They hand you your dessert while your food is being prepared. I ordered the pastrami sandwich with potato soup… I have no regrets. They were amazing! My coworker ordered the potato pie and French onion soup. The potato pie is pictured for those curious. It is very good and reminds me of a loaded bake potato with sour cream, chives, and bacon. The service was excellent and attentive.

Parking: There is parking in front of the restaurant but if go around the block there is also a big parking lot in the back. There is a back door you can enter in as well.

This is an unassuming cafe with counter service. So far I have only tried the quiche and coconut cake. Sooo good!! The coconut cake is truly the best I’ve had. Staff is easy going. I’ll be back every time I visit.
