We stopped in here for our anniversary since we like going to places we've never been and loved the drinks and food! Not very many people in while we were dining and that should definitely change! Worth the dine!

We were excited to try this new restaurant since it's close to home but sadly weren't super impressed. The queso with chorizo was good. However, my cantina bowl lacked much flavor. The rice was unfortunately terrible. Our server was friendly and checked in frequently. This is a family run business which is a plus. Music and sports were playing. I'm hopeful it was off night and the kinks will be worked out over time.

What a cute place! We went for their special Margarita Towers. Service was REALLY slow and it took a long time to get our orders taken. That being said, we could tell that there were only a couple servers and they were scrambling to help everyone. The food, when we got it, was amazing. No one at the table had any complaints about it.After we had checked out, the owner (?) Came and apologized for all the waiting and explained that since opening in the Summer they had lost their servers. They asked us to give them another chance, which we will. The food is worth it! Just go and be patient and enjoy the chips and salsa while you wait! ?

Really impressed with the flavor and service of such a new place. The quesabirras were really good and the meat was tender. My husband got the tamales three ways and he thought it was fantastic. Definitely recommend supporting this new business. The $1 margs were a great deal as well and were much bigger than I anticipated.

This place is amazing. Will definitely be coming back, and will recommend to everyone we know. Starting from the top: 1. The margaritas are very delicious 2. The service is fast and very friendly 3. the Pollo a la Frida ? I could eat that everyday for the rest of my life. 4. THEY HAVE HOMEMADE HORCHATA! If you’ve never had horchata I suggest you look no further than this hidden gem of a restaurant. My love had the tropical burrito and he loved it as well. Thoroughly impressed with everything at the restaurant. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful meal and experience!

I really enjoyed this little place. There are plenty of sit-down casual Mexican restaurants in town, but La Sufrida has its own special flare and flavor profiles. They take the time to intentionally plate your food, and given that this restaurant pays tribute to Frida Kahlo, this artistic attention to detail seems appropriate. The flavors of my tamale dish were complex and fresh and the portions were appropriate for the prices. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had no problems. I left feeling full and excited to try more on my next visit. Definitely check it out. (I swear I took a picture of my pretty plate but it disappeared!)

I opened the door but thought they were closed since there were no lights on. But someone opened a different door and said they were open but since no one was inside they turned the lights off. It was a Monday night so I figured I would give it a try. The chips were stale but the salsa had good flavor. My food was really good, I got the birra tacos. I also got a margarita. It tasted really good but honestly I don't think it had alcohol in it.

It was a quiet evening meal, lol. But, our waitress was very kind and helpful. Service was fast and efficient. I had the tropical Pollo burrito, and it was divine. It had a smokey flavor with hints of sweetness and was big enough for two people. The menu has a great variety with something for everyone. I will be going back.

Went with my girl on a whim after she was done work. The service was amazing and the food was better. We tried the quesabirria tacos and omg heaven in a tortilla. We each got a cocktail. I grabbed a standard Long Island Iced Tea and she ordered a Jalapeño Margarita. My Long Island was awesome. Well mixed and plenty of alcohol and the same for her margarita. She also liked the fact they used fresh jalapeños and not pickled. We will be back.

Old Los Cabo location but inside has been updates. The menu is extensive so everyone will find something they will like. They have a variety of ceviche which makes this place unique. I had the pork in salsa verde and would reorder it. The pork was tender and every thing had great flavor.

La Sufrida is in the old Los Cabos location, but the space and the menu have been updated and rebranded. Fans of Los Cabos will be delighted to find old favorites still on the menu like the wonderful al pastor-style pineapple fajitas. Their al pastor reminds me of the time I spent in Mexico City, the home of tacos al pastor. Seafood lovers in the mood for something cool and fresh will enjoy the aguachiles and ceviche served here. This visit, we tried the mango habanero aguachiles, which were a little spicy and tasted amazing on the crunchy tostadas and crackers that came with it. This dish was out of this world. My wife's botana campechano which was also great. We always order one of the aguas frescas which they make daily, but this restaurant also offers a full bar and specialty drinks for those who imbibe. They have a cart to make fancy drinks at your table, if you're feeling festive. Service here is always above-and-beyond. When our server found out I couldn't have today's agua Fresca choices because they contain dairy, she made me a special watermelon one. It was absolutely mouthwatering and complimented my meal perfectly. Our server also made a delicious Al agua patos (duck water lol) margarita, which is made at the table and comes with dry ice and a toy duckie. She loved it!La Sufrida is one of my top spots for Mexican food in the city. Treat yourself and give it a try!

Not an expert on Mexican food, but compared to the other Mexican restaurants into area, this is poor. The food was bland and tasteless, even the beans and rice lacked a flavor. I had shrimp tacos which was just Blah! Shrimp on a flour tortilla and that was that. had some grilled onions on the plate also which had a severe lack of seasoning. The taco salad my wife ha was small and not worth the money. She asked for no pico and chopped tomatoes instead. No tomatoes, and full of pico! the rice she asked for in the salad was not cooked through. The server was while having a pleasant demeanor did not have the proper skill sets to be in the position she was in. Other Mexican restaurants in the area are far superior.
