Ana was great showing us in for my mom and I’s first time there. She was patient and informative. The donuts are gorgeous! My mom LOVES a chocolate bar with whipped cream in the middle. Ana gave her a side of whipped cream and made her day. 10/10 reccomend.

The lady Eve, had an awful condescending attitude. Going forward, let’s hire people that know how to talk to customers. I was wondering why this place only had 4 stars. Right when I walked in, it all made sense.
The doughnuts are way overpriced. Wont ever be back and will share my experience with my peers.

How does this place have such high reviews? I bought two donuts and paid $8.50 and then the cashier (that I seemed to interrupt her vaping in the back) pushed way too hard for a tip on top that. I don't understand the pricing for donuts that are about as good as what you can get at QT.

The food was amazing, but unfortunately I lived in Liberty Missouri right down the street from LaMars... where a long john even last week, was only $3 a piece... What the hell is going on with your prices? More than DOUBLE!? Someone must be stealing or playing games on their taxes. this is a huge scam

I’m sorry Lamar’s this is more than likely the last time I visit you. $32 for 6 donuts and 1 chocolate milk…?! I don’t care if there is a “free” coffee and donut! Next time take the $6 off my bill. Too expensive, fantastic donuts but not worth $5 each

Whenever I go, the donuts are always gooey, not cooked long enough. I can taste raw dough towards the inside. I ordered a cinnamon twist, when I opened it, the raw dough was exposed!
The staff are incredibly friendly and work to make sure you have a good experience. The donuts and frappes are delicious and their rewards program gives you free donuts fairly often. No better donut shop out there from my experience.

Found out they gave donuts to the URM where I stayed when I was homeless... their donuts made the stay easier... it helped me get through that... stopped in to get a donut and the girls were amazing the donuts were delicious... I'm going to get donuts there again soon... their kindness and generosity were humbling...
TL;DR LaMar's is just as good as you remember it and the new fangled shops have nothing on them.
I grew up eating and loving LaMar's Donuts. For the last 30 years, they have consistently delivered as the best and most consistent donut shop. There is always a large variety of good quality and tasty donuts, something for everyone. If they don't have the donut you want that day, you can always special order ahead and they can custom make anything. Ask about their special giant birthday donut sometime!
The staff is always top notch. I had an especially heart-warming interaction with Kim the last time I visited. Everyone is great and I always enjoy my experience.
If you haven't been back in while or if it's your first time visiting, I wholeheartedly recommend going!
I went here twice this week for some donuts and coffee for work meetings and both times I got stellar service from two different people. Great to see consistently great service, donuts were great as well. Will be back.

Long John was world class. Floor and tables were dirty but the gal was busy as she could be (looked short handed).
Donuts are not baked on site or at least it seemed that way so they kind of tasted like they were day old kind of hard not fresh

Donuts are very good. We've always made a visit here when we come from out of town. But prices have reached $3.00 for a plain donut, which is too much for what they are.

What in the world just happened! Just crazy. I didn’t bother reading any reviews before because I figured, it’s a donut shop, why would I need to? Now that I have, let me reiterate what others have said. This is insane $18-$20 for three glazed, a twist, and a knot. No matter what excuses they give, this has nothing to do with current cost of ingredients, overhead, and salaries. This is just plain overcharging. First time I’ve come here in years. Will be my last. Donut Palace is far better and more appropriately priced.

As others said, $22 for 3 long John's and a milk. As I sit here I looked up doordash. It is actually cheaper with tip to get the same order delivered from a local shop half way across town, that's saying something.
