This place used to be excellent but has been declining for a while. This evening the wife and I attempted to have dinner here but after waiting at our table for 12 minutes without service we walked out and will not return.

We usually love this place but we just left and are very disappointed. There was a sign by the door staying they have special margaritas and $2.50 queso cups to celebrate their birthday. When we ordered the queso and margs he walked over to the sign to see “what deals they were running” since he’s been off for a few days. When we were brought our bill it first said $33. We gave the server our card, he came back and charged us for $41… we asked why and he said he charges led us for medium queso’s instead of the cups. We said we orders the cups not the medium and he said he wouldn’t change it.. Even if the sizing was a communication mistake it is completely unprofessional tell us it was one price, take our card, and then charge us more without telling us??

The food is fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Mexican taste. The portions are generous, the presentation is inviting, and every dish is prepared with care. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience warm and enjoyable. Overall, it’s a place I would happily return to again.

Pretty average but still very good and tasty americanized Mexican Food. A lot of food for a small penny! Ordered the Cocos sampler and had a lot of leftovers! Pretty nice waitress too! We will be back!

This is one of our favorite Mexican food restaurants on the West Side. They are always fairly busy because the food and atmosphere is great. Speaking of great, our server Consuela was fantastic!! She was very attentive and friendly. Seemed like a genuinely nice person. She made our experience better.

Had a burrito for pick up. Took it home and the burrito wasn’t even wrapped. The meat was cold. I only lived 5 minutes away.
