Have been going less and less frequently. The lead bartender exhibits elements of racism and prejudice. Not the most welcoming atmosphere. Will always object if anyone in my friend group suggests going their for a drink. Much better bars close by like rain or peerless.

If you're looking for an awesome grungy dive bar, this is definitely the place. Cheap drinks and great company. The patio area is huge and there's always good music playing. I love coming out on random nights with friends to grab a few beers and chill. Check it out folks.

What can I say, I love this place. Reasonable prices, character for days, a pool table and a (internet) jukebox too! Lucky's has a recently renovated patio out back which is great when the weather is nice. It will soon include quartz heaters for the cooler months. The staff is friendly. Off the beaten path just a bit means that it's a bit quieter than other "Old Town" bars right after work and in the early evenings. It does pick up after 10pm most evenings and occasionally has a band, but not too often. A decent selection of premium liquors like bourbon if that is your thing, 6 draft beers and plenty of bottle selection. Standards like PBR, Highlife and Coors Orig. are $2.25 everyday. No need to look for a special. Lucky's just hits all the right notes for me. All the character of a hole-in-the-wall dive bar without making you feel like you need to take a shower when you get home. 5 Stars from me!
The bar itself isn't bad, but the bartenders have terrible attitudes. It kills all the fun of going to watch live local music with terrible service and rude employees.

Don't be a dick to the staff and they won't be dicks to you. I always appreciate that mentality! I love Lucky's, it's my go to spot when I need a nightcap or want to run into a bunch of Wichitans that I admire.

Lucky's is essentially my Cheers. Over the years I have fallen in love with this bar and it's very easy to do. The bartenders are always fun and entertaining, drinks are cheap, and there are always friendly faces hangin' at the bar. This bar is so supportive of the local community, from displaying locals artists to booking local bands, and the patrons are an indicator of that. There are pin ball machines and a pool table for entertainment and there's a huge patio with lots of seating. The digital jukebox has a huge variety of tunes to choose from but the bartenders also double as great iPod DJs if that's more your speed! Don't forget to leave your name in the bathroom on the chalk wall!

Would give a 4 1/2 if I could. The only thing that would make my impression better is if there was some type of overview on the back patio. Great place, great music, and a cool atmosphere. Good crowd. Seems like a a upper class hipster bar with a mixture of the successful tattoo'ers. "If that is a word".
