We visited with three adults and two young children. It was a nice upscale atmosphere. I appreciated that the music was not played too loud. We had a very friendly and attentive server, Madeline. All the food was excellent. The highlights were probably the shrimp and grits and the rolls with caramel butter. The menu was not large but I appreciate not being overwhelmed by choices. They seem to have a rotating weekend menu. We can’t wait to come back and try it again!

The chef went out of his way to prepare vegan options for a few of the guests. The food was outstanding.

This is our 3rd place. We love the staff, the food, and the atmosphere. We were shocked at how empty it was on a Saturday night. I hope more folks come support them, because it would be awful to lose such an awesome place.

Me and my 3 young children went to eat on Sunday morning. No wait, service was A+++ Food was A+++ my children were all quiet and focused on eating the goodness they were served. We will be back very soon. My southern sunrise was not as good but the food over topped any drink. Thank you

The food was ok nothing stood out to be fantastic we went for breakfast. This is the only food I know about and have never been there for lunch or dinner. They had Cajun biscuits that were ok thought I would have had a little more spice.

Started off with fried green tomatoes, which were amazing with the sauce that it came with. Husband had the Shrimp & Grits, that flavor and the amount of food was filling, even had leftover from it. I had the Crawfish Biscuits & Gravy, and oh my gosh was it amazing. The flavor, the spices, the amount of food was perfect. My son had the Chicken & Waffles, and the chicken was perfectly crisp with a hint of spice and honey coated on the side of the waffles which were delicious, crispy and soft in the inside.
Thank you to the waitress as well, she was very accommodating and this will be my go to for breakfast.

We stopped here for brunch as we were passing thru Wichita. My husband had the chicken and waffles my brother had the hash. They both enjoyed their meal. I had the salad, thank goodness I ordered the side portion rather than the entree size. As I began eating I noted a strange texture. The dressing was lovely, the candied nuts were nice. The lettuce was bad. I pick out pieces that were brown on the end, pieces that were nothing but slime, finally I just gave up. Clearly whomever prepared the salad did not check the lettuce, as it should have been tossed in the compost bin and not served. So, if you eat at Magnolia Cafe- avoid the salad.

Two out of brunch entrees 3 were really good, but the salad was slimy - well past its due date. I would eat there again but my sister certainly won't.

Stopped in for mothers day brunch. We were seated on the patio farely quick (less than 15 mins) the waitress took our drink order and we proceeded through the buffet line. The Cajun pasta , shrimp and grits and smoked salmon were all very good. A couple other items were so so but certainly acceptable such as the eggs Benedict were over done, and the gravy tasted like the same gravy from holiday Inn.
Our waitress left some to be desired. Things like not bringing silverware. Not having her station prepped for coffee etc which had her running in and out a lot. Overall again not an issue.
With 2 adults, 2 kids, 1 coffee, 2 juices, and an ice tea the bill was a touch over 100.00 on mothers day.
It was a very hectic day and had the staff rolls been a little better sorted it would have ran like a clock. All in all I would have no issues going back and trying their regular menu.
