Wide selection with good portions for the price, and while the noodles and meat were cooked perfectly, the flavor was a little too subtle for me. I got the #1 ranked item on their menu called "Char Kway Teow". I'll be back to try other dishes to see how those are.

They burnt the food and then when we called didn't answer the call. The next day when they answered the phone they said we should've brought the food back the day before. Refused a refund. And made it seem like it was our fault and the person said they wouldn't do anything. Left our number to be called and never received any call back. Almost$100 was spent on the ticket. Waste of money for such bad food quality and horrible customer service VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BORDER LINE Rude staff. Do not recommend this place.

My lady and I ordered food without realizing that the restaurant was closing in roughly 15 minutes. Despite us being late to order and to pick up the food, the staff was incredibly pleasant to us. One of the owners spoke with us as well and we had a wonderful conversation. Once we did finally realize that the restaurant was closing/closed, it was clear to us that we did not deserve this kindness but we appreciated it nonetheless.
As for the food, we ordered a 4 piece chicken Satay, BBQ pork fried rice, Hokkien char mee noodles, and the Sambal Chili paste stir fry. All of these items were phenomenal and earned a 10/10 rating from us. The meat was consistently tender and savory and each item packed a powerful flavor without being covered in too much sauce. We will absolutely be going back to Malaysia cafe sometime very soon and will be sure to do so at an appropriate time!
I implore everyone who lives in Wichita to check out this fantastic restaurant!!!

Vegetarian options: They will make many dishes vegetarian on request.

I ordered takeout House Lo Mein and egg rolls. The service was quick. My lo mein was amazing. The protein to noodle ratio was far greater than 99.9% of the Asian restaurants I have visited.The egg rolls were crispy and the filling was super flavorful.I’ll be having lunch again soon!
Malaysia Cafe has been my favorite restaurant ever since they opened. Yep, that means I have been a regular customer for almost 30 years and counting! Keep it up Sammy and Celine!

Food quality has dropped way down. I used to eat here daily when I was going to college in early 2000. It was amazing.I came back a few more times in the last 10 months..... the taste is lost.
