Never able to eat dinner in their dining area, even though website says they are open for dining in or out. After trying twice at prime dinner time, we gave up. Pretty dissapointing. Won't try again. Hope their carry out keeps their business going.

I used to go here years ago with my family when they did dine in and we loved it. I went today for old times and they only do dine in until 2, which is whatever. But it is such a weird time because I think most would view this place as a dinner restaurant. Not the biggest deal just wish there was a sign outside stating that, I went looking outside on my way out and saw no such sign. The bad part of today wasn’t that though, it was the older lady taking our order, she was so rude for seemingly no reason. She acted like it was a chore to put in a small to go order and as if we shouldn’t be there. that we were somehow ruining her day. She was brisk and snippy, it’s not even like we were asking a ton of questions or being difficult, we just ordered an appetizer and an entree, no substitutions just the regular food. I felt like she was basically rolling her eyes at us for just existing in her vicinity. That is just not a way to do business and keep customers, I will say that the food was good but I won’t be back because the experience was pretty uncomfortable. Sorry if you were having a bad day but it’s not cool to take that out on random customers.

I tried my first lasagna pizza yesterday, and it was mighty yummy ( I like my pepper with a side of pizza). Great location too you can order a pizza and walk over to Walmart or you can call it in as you finish your workout and walk over and grab it, the choice is yours. I'll gladly comeback the next time I'm in Wichita.

Slept on Italian restaurant! I’ve only ever ordered it for carry out so I can’t speak on the service when dining in. Starting off this is a go-to whenever you’re in the mood for some quick pasta that still comes off fresh and delicious. Appetizers are a hit too, I love the crab cakes or bruschetta.
The only minor negatives I find it to be a bit pricey if you’re looking for add ons to the pasta. On top of that when paying for the add ons (chicken breast, mushroom, cheese etc) I feel shorted on them more times than not.
Nonetheless I am speaking strictly for their classic pasta dishes and can’t say much elsewhere.

For 25+ years my wife and I have enjoyed our meals at Marcella’s!!! The chicken parm is awesome. The meat lasagna is excellent! The spinach/artichoke dip is delicious! I miss being able to sit I. The dining room, but Covid ruined that for everybody! Prices are very reasonable and the food authentic.
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Wichita. The blacked salmon dinner is fantastic. My son said his canzone was amazing.

Ever since the original owner has retired the quality of the food has not been the gone as good. I have been getting food from Marchello' s since 1999 and it's not the same. The Greek salad I ordered last time (about 2 weeks ago) was probably the worst Greek salad I have ever had. Only 2 thin slices of tomato, only 2 olives and only 1 whole pepperoncini. The one item that was the main ingredient of the Greek salad was the lettuce. That was challenging enough for anyone to eat. The lettuce consisted of an abundance of the thick, hard whitish ends that normally isn't included in a salad. I've worked at enough eating establishments to back up my statement of knowing how lettuce should or shouldn't be served. Over the past year I have kept an open mind about getting food from Marchello's. I don't give up that easy! I've thought Marchello's was wonderful since 1999. This last experience has led me to believe it's just not the same. I'm not sure what it is exactly but, there's only one thing it boils down to: the original (now older) generation is now the younger generation running the show. Accepting change isn't easy and searching for a new place takes time. Another adventure awaits!

We decided to take our money elsewhere this evening because we were unable to dine-in for dinner.
